Emotional Triple Treat

If you are feeling extra shakey/energised/adrenalin-pumped/anxious this morning - aside from the usual amounts of these things at this time of year - we just had an M Class Solar Flare.

For the first time in ages, this morning I had that solar flare feeling of having had 10 ten cups of coffee, only I haven't had any so I checked, and yep sure enough there was the M Class. Heart pumping, feeling jittery, getting an extra shot of inspiration, we all have different ways of responding to flares. It's helpful to know that we do respond, otherwise we can be feeling frazzled without knowing why, which only increases our stress!

This week is already one that has us feeling more stressed out than usual, and we also have the Christmas Day Full Moon in emotional, sensitive Cancer coming up. If ever there was a time to stop and breathe before you have an inner or outer meltdown, it is over these next few days.

The air is crackling with emotional triggers thanks to the holidays, full moon and now solar flare. There is pressure at this time of year to spend more than you have, and for some spending time with those you'd rather not see. There are reminders of family and friends whose chairs are empty at the table. It can be easy to feel swamped by all that pressure and emotion, and forget what is important: appreciate what you have, focus on who you love, feel who loves you, see all the good that is around you.

Full Moon, fertility and so many feelings!

 

A Full Moon was rising on our last night at the Rez last week. The Lakota don't have a word for goodbye, instead they say Toksha Ake meaning see you later or see you again. Big Wopila to everyone and everything there for as usual a truly powerful and beautiful time.

I was feeling so emotional prior to that last day. It was a Full Moon, Venus was and still is doing her Retrograde thing, and we completed our final thank you ceremony with the Medicine man and spirits, closing a circle we started 6 years ago when we did ceremony to help us conceive our now almost 4 year old Jaxon.

I am thinking of you all right now who have had, or are having, issues with fertility, women and men both. And thinking of all fathers and mothers, aunties and uncles, grandmas and grandpas, who are all joined together be it united during conception issues, or anything related to the healthy presence of all of our precious children.

We are citizens of a cosmos

What a sight in the sky the other night: clear twilight blue, Full Moon Rising in Capricorn to the left of us, and Venus next to Jupiter in the constellation of Leo to the right of us. Nights like this remind everyone who chooses to look up that we are part of something so much bigger than us. These planets, and this Earth, have been here long before us, and will be here long after.

I am reminded of this constantly as we drive through this part of the US that I love so much with real life faces in the rocks staring off into the distance. The stories they could tell! 

It is so easy to get bogged down with stuff that in the grand scheme of things will not matter one iota when it comes time to pass on from here. When you catch yourself worrying about something, take a moment to ask yourself: Have I been in this situation before? Has it all worked out okay before? How will I feel about this situation on my last day of life?

Do you believe that there is something greater than you looking out for you? Connect with that energy and invite it into your heart.

When we see politicians and other head honcho's holding on to their illusion of power, determined to fight to the last breath as they try to maintain an outdated system of control as is being so vividly represented right now regarding who marries who (congratulations US and Ireland, sigh Australian government), know that we are seeing a dying system thrashing against an emerging, awakening new humanity. One that truly knows, in our heart of hearts, what is important, what is good and right for all, what is kind to the Earth, what is healthy for us and our children.

Our collective awakening is not about some ethereal connection to Spirit that lasts 10 minutes during meditation. It is about - among other things personal to each individual - recognising ourselves as Citizens of a Cosmos that is so much bigger than us. It is about remembering who we are in the grand scheme of things. It is about walking and living a higher truth and consciousness in every aspect of our lives, in every system in our society, on this planet Earth. I am so happy and excited that we are seeing more and more evidence every day that this is the direction millions of people are choosing to go toward.

We don't know what will happen in our tomorrows. We don't even know if we are guaranteed a tomorrow. What we can do is live a good day today, and have every intention to make our tomorrows great ones for ourselves, our family, our community and our planet. And when our days or the days of our loved ones are not so great, we at least now have such a greater knowing of how to deal with those days in a better way than we would have in our yesterdays.

The Sun has joined the Full Moon Party

The Sun is in cahoots with this Full Moon with three M Class Solar flares in the last 24 hours! Well that hasn't happened in a while - no wonder we are all buzzing with energy (and emotion).

So many people have been feeling the intensity of this Full Moon in a greater way than usual, and with many of us now picking up on Solar Flares even before they happen, it explains why we've known for a couple of days that this Full Moon was going to be huge. (Aside from the other astrological influences as mentioned in my post below).

Relentless transformation

Emotional releases are likely right now - it is the Full Moon after all, and a super-charged one at that. Releases are cleansing and transformational, helping you to see yourself or another in a clearer way, allowing you to let go of some sadness or hurt, and move forward with more space for greater freedom, and love for yourself.

This Full Moon in Virgo is absolutely pulsing with Transformation Energy. Partly because Pluto, Mr "Get in your Power" is aspecting it. Partly because Uranus, Mr "I will come out of left field and move you ten squares across the chess board before you know what hit you" is aspecting it. And partly because it feels like the Shift has decided to kick into high gear this year, moving us all along at super-speeds at every given opportunity. 

In many ways, I feel like more has happened in the past 2 months than in the past 2 years. For some of you this may mean dramatic external changes, for others it is all about inner changes and for a lot of us it is both.

If you are experiencing this, you are probably finding that there is not a lot of daytime down-time. That is, days where the waves of change aren't so intense allowing us to integrate all these changes. However you can be sure that integration is indeed happening - most likely when you are asleep at night, and your conscious mind is nicely snoozing and out of the way.

Even though the theme of the year so far seems to be a relentless push to take 'who we are' to a new physical and vibrational level, there is simultaneously a very calm energetic influence within and around us. We are riding the waves higher and faster than ever, yet doing so in a kind of zen way, trusting where the wave is taking us, knowing it will take us where we need to go, knowing it will all unfold in the perfect way, at the perfect right time.

As much as we are being compelled to move forward, we are also being urged to take time to stop and smell the roses along the way. This may seem contradictory but the two actions are now coming from the same source: high-vibrational waves of love that do not have the same rule book as our former head-based frequency. Our momentum forward is being fuelled by synchronicities, divine guidance, heart-led intuition, heart-based feelings, and a more easeful, vibrational attraction of all that we truly need.

Friday the 13th Full Moon

A Full Moon on Friday the 13th, how magical! 

It feels very representative of the triple goddess, with all three of these things symbolic of the Feminine Nature honouring the realm of feelings, fertility, creation and our natural cycles. 

After a very intense week of Sun solar flare activity and energy, it is now very appropriate to immerse in the nurturing and nourishing energy of this Friday the 13th Full Moon. 

Take time today or over the weekend to do something for yourself, to indulge in some self-care, take some rest, have some 'me' time, or do something that feels good to you.
