A few people over the past week have reached out, letting me know they
feel like ending their life. When a large amount of departing density - old
emotions, memories and fears of our yesterdays - is leaving our body, it can
feel incredibly heavy, overwhelming, suffocating and isolating. We can feel all
alone even in a crowded room, especially in a crowded room.
When you are in a place
of darkness it is important to have a pinprick of light pop up right when you
need it, letting you know that you can keep going, that there is air up ahead.
An email from someone who found a pinprick of light today right when she needed
it, offers a pinprick of light to others. She read something today that gave
her peace after only moments before being in a very dark place, and she wrote
(repeated here with her permission): "With depression it is not easy to
aim for happiness. I think peace has to come first and peace is easier to find
when your in a dark place. I am resting in peace now, without actually
dying."
If you are in a dark
place right now, know that you are not alone and do not have to go through this
alone. Most countries have a Lifeline crisis number to call, where you can
connect with an experienced counsellor for free. If you don't know if there is
one in your country please message me and I'll find out for you. You can call a
friend, post here, or ask to please be shown something right now that will help
you.
The energies right now
are full of love, kindness, gentleness and compassion. If you aren't feeling
this, that's ok. There are others around you ready to listen, to take your
hand, to help you through whatever you are feeling. If you feel in panic or
anxiety, take a breath and then take another. If all you can manage right now
is one breath at a time then just do that. It is enough.

Very good point. We should all be able to rest in peace without dying. It's a bit to late after you're dead.
