For anyone who is a regular to my Monthly Visions, you’ll have read something I say a lot: we are moving into a new vibration where anything not in alignment with that vibration is now in the process of collapsing or transforming. You cannot take your analogue system with you once the national switchover is made to digital television, so too with our old vibrational reality. So, aside from an increase in natural disasters as a natural result of the Earth's shift, we are particularly seeing the effects in poorer areas first, because all that is vibrating at a low level can no longer be sustained. February 2010: Helping Haiti...and why did it happen?
“What I have been saying for these 20 years is that "water retains information". And the information which affects water the most is people's mind. It functions as if water were the mirror of our heart. I don't think that water deep underground is not an exception, and believe that the state of energy of such water becomes as if it is reflecting the mind of people who live on the ground. What I think is that an earthquake may occur due to the disparity in energy level of water in faults. The greater the disparity is, the stronger the quake may become. There were earthquakes in the Indian Ocean off Sumatra and in the Philippines, and this time in Haiti. If my assumption stated above is correct, I would think that they occurred because the energy level of people who live in those areas, on those grounds, may be low, and that the energy level of economy in such areas may be very low. You cannot take your analogue system with you once the national switchover is made to digital television, so too with our old vibrational reality. So, aside from an increase in natural disasters as a natural result of the Earth's shift, we are particularly seeing the effects in poorer areas first, because all that is vibrating at a low level can no longer be sustained. Out of context, this sounds like a totally heartless Universal mantra so I will elaborate, and stress the following point: I am not suggesting we take on a simplistic, new agey head in the sand attitude like “People in poor areas just need to lift their vibration’. That is certainly part of it, but there is a bigger picture here. ALL that is vibrating at a low level can no longer be sustained. If you keep reading you’ll see that there is a very heart-full higher purpose to these words, simultaneously acting as a warning and a calling, beseeching us all into a higher level of being which includes a higher standard of truth, accountability, responsibility, use of power and care for Earth and humanity. The obvious situation is that Port-au-Prince, the capital of Haiti has collapsed, however something even bigger is being called to collapse and transform: the international conditions that allowed a country to collapse in such a tragic way and allowed it to live in such an inhumane way for so long. The vibration of everything has to increase from individuals to international relations and everything in between. All of it.
Neither consciousness without action eg ‘lift your vibration people!’ or action without consciousness ‘here have some money people’ on their own are going to work as sustainable solutions. The two have to work hand in hand. While ultimately we are all responsible for our own level of consciousness and vibration, and thus responsible for the contribution we make to the consciousness and vibration of our family, home, country and world, it works the other way around as well. The collective consciousness of our world, country, home and family, influences our personal level of consciousness and thus the ease in which we can rise up...or not.
Many on the spiritual path have a detached attitude of non-interference when it comes to political and global issues, using old karmic perspectives like: “They must be in that situation for a reason”. While individual consciousness is certainly a factor, ie every one is being called to lift their vibration right now, poverty consciousness cannot exist where we are going, we also have to take into account the responsibility of our collective consciousness. That is, what are we doing to help people rise above poverty consciousness and conditions, and more importantly what are we doing that is actually keeping them down on that low level? Can someone rise above a certain level of consciousness and conditions if there are governments or organisations at work deliberately repressing them just like a lid being pushed down on a pot of water? The water WILL rise eventually, but at what cost???
Okay, everything happens for a ‘reason’, but consider that the reason may be to trigger we the people into a vibrant, active consciousness so that we might start asking: “Why in such a wealthy world do we allow people to live like that?” so that we might start demanding and placing pressure on international governments to change the way they treat their neighbours. We have been numbed by media to such an extent that we think it is ‘just the way it is’ that most of the world live in unacceptable conditions, but it doesn’t make sense that they do in light of the available resources.
‘Globally, the annual military expenditure stands at 780 billion dollars. The total amount required to provide global health care, eliminate starvation and malnutrition, provide clean water and shelter for all, remove land mines, eliminate nuclear weapons, stop deforestation, prevent global warming, ozone depletion and acid rain, retire the paralysing debt of developing nations, prevent soil erosion, produce safe, clean energy, stop overpopulation and eliminate illiteracy is only one third that amount – 237.5 billion dollars.” – Dr Helen Caldicott, The New Nuclear Danger (2001)
As the media shines its microscopic lens into Port-au-Prince we are not just seeing the victims of an earthquake. We are seeing the victims of a world that doesn’t share its wealth, that doesn’t look after it’s brothers and sisters, that doesn’t provide access to (or even awareness of) many available resources and technologies. We have not seen that this world has had every opportunity and ability to do so, but has chosen not to. This is not limited to the world’s treatment of Haiti, but extends to its treatment of all those in need, both within developing and developed countries. When I refer above to the ‘world’, really I am talking about the world’s power elite, an old paradigm group mentality that has got to be voted off the island already.
As I watched the Haiti tragedy unfolding on television, I caught myself thinking: “Why is it that the worst natural disasters seem to hit the countries (or cities in the case of New Orleans) that are already suffering the most? Does an earthquake or tsunami have a ‘poverty magnet’ and decide “Now, who shall I target next? I know! How about the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere? Haiti!” Yet strong quakes occur in wealthy cities and countries too. Just a couple of weeks before the 7.0 Haiti quake, a 6.5 magnitude quake happened off the coast of California. No major damage or injuries were reported aside from the popping out of a few windows and smashed bottles that fell off shelves in liquor stores and supermarkets. In July 2008 a 5.4 quake had its epicentre only 30 miles east of Los Angeles. “No serious injuries or major structural damage” there aside from “rocking tall buildings and rattling nerves” (Whitcomb, Reuters). In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Los Angeles was “very lucky”. Lucky is one way to look at it. Structurally sound, at least in comparison to Haiti, thanks to an abundance of financial support is another.

Compare this with Haiti where, according to the mayor of Port-au-Prince, 60% of buildings were shoddily built and unsafe in normal circumstances. 80% of Haitians live under the poverty line on less than $2 a day. (Associated Press). We can safely say that while natural disasters certainly aren’t limited to poorer countries, they definitely have more catastrophic consequences.
International governments are now sending aid but the question has to be asked: Where have you been???? Was it their job to help out countries like Haiti while they were busy with their own countries? Yes actually it was! In 1970 the United Nations set as a target that the world’s ‘rich nations’ contribute 0.70% of their Gross National Income (GNI) to Official Development Assistance. With the exception of Sweden, Norway, Luxembourg, Denmark and The Netherlands, the ‘rich nations’ are not meeting this target. When I included this fact in my book A New Chapter I noted that the US’s contribution in 2005 was only .22% of their GNI ($27.5 billion) yet they managed to find $420 billion that year for military spending. Out of interest today I went to www.globalissues.org to see if the US has improved since then. Sadly they’ve got worse. Their Development Assistance figure as at April 2009 had gone below the .2% mark, although that would have reflected the last year of the outgoing administration. I only hope that the Obama administration is rectifying that situation asap, among the other hundred things on their to do list.
The United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals were agreed on in 2000, to be reached by 2015. They included 8 urgent issues including the eradication of extreme poverty. Kofi Annan at the time said that the ‘rich nations’ had to double their efforts with global development assistance if they had any hope of reaching these goals. They haven’t done that, perhaps thinking there isn’t anyone to hold them accountable. Who can force the most powerful countries in the world to uphold their promises? They clearly don’t have the New Reality manual, otherwise they’d know someone is holding them accountable. Universal Law, Energy and Vibration are holding them accountable. Earth is holding them accountable. She is moving into a higher vibration and poverty cannot exist in a higher vibration. Corruption, greed and abuse of power cannot exist in a higher vibration. We are experiencing a ‘revealing’ of those energies that have had the majority of this world living on shaky ground. The people of Haiti are suffering, but they are suffering more than they had to.
Geologists presented a paper in 2008 concluding that Port-au-Prince, which hadn’t had a major seismic event since 1751, could face a 7.2 earthquake that would be catastrophic given the overall shoddy construction of the city. (Reuters). One can’t help but wonder, if the ‘rich nations’ actually fulfilled their promises, could we have prevented the 100, 000 deaths in Haiti plus the 2 million + people there right now urgently in need of water, food, power and medical aid? Millions around the world are in that same urgent need, and they didn’t even have an earthquake. They just live like that all the time. Do they have to attract an earthquake or tsunami too before we give them any attention??
Natural disasters force governments to help, and trigger all kinds of celebrity driven Hope for Humanity telethons and concerts, and an upswell of individual giving which is wonderful, but it’s sad it takes a natural disaster to do that and at the same time we can’t be lulled into thinking this is a one-off unavoidable tragedy, donate $10 and go back to our normal lives. Haiti was in trouble for a long time before this quake, and many other countries are in trouble right now whether it’s lack of clean water or rising sea levels threatening the survival of their people.
We are led to believe that our rich countries are stretched to the limit, and absolutely are doing all they can. In actual fact, international governments have promised to do a whole lot more, and have been breaking these promises in a big way for at least forty years.
This isn’t about picking up the financial slack where our governments have failed. Of course help however you can, but what we really need is a mass awakening from apathy to anger, and from anger will come the passion and demand for governments to change the way they are running our world. The media has to start giving more productive, fact-based (not fear based) information, and stop repressing and ignoring information that we have a right to know. If there’s only one new thing you do this week, it is to become conscious of the degree to which you personally demand greater justice and balance for this world and to lift it up a notch. Consciousness is not immediately physically visible, but consciousness counts. It is our growing collective consciousness around the kind of Earth and Humanity we want to have, and the guidances you will naturally receive around what you personally can do, that will ultimately create it. Wherever a higher consciousness exists, a lower consciousness cannot, and that is how we can literally squeeze out the lies, corruption and abuse of power too many people have been suffocated by for too long.
The international governments can’t keep pressing their eyes shut, hoping much like children playing hide and seek that if they don’t actually look at the world, the world won’t be able to see them and thus they won’t have to do anything about its condition. The Earth is moving into a higher vibration, but too many of the power elite are still desperately trying to hold on to their old ways thinking no-one will notice. Events like the Haiti earthquake are making people aware of previously ignored human brothers and sisters. We are noticing perhaps for the first time the conditions in which they were living, before the quake. Yet it is not enough to look at Haiti and think ‘poor people, they didn’t have a chance.’ I wish that international leaders would be more honest about their broken promises and say “Those people did have a chance. We were supposed to give them a chance. We just chose not to.”

• Spend 10 min a day in meditation, focusing on your breath, connecting with your heart, feeling yourself as part of All that Is. When you do this regularly, this state of being becomes more and more familiar to you, making it easier to sustain during the day. This connected state is a higher state of consciousness. You can do a lot of good from this state, and will more easily be guided to the best ways in which you can help others.
• Gravitate to positive, empowering sources of information and media.
• Find a way every day to do something good, kind or giving. Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while, cook a meal for someone who is super busy or super stressed, smile more, tell your partner you love and appreciate them, hug your kids.
• Visualise what you would like your world to look like – your home, your work, your community, your country, your Earth.
• Tell yourself every day: I can make a difference, conscious action counts!

Natural disasters force governments to help, and trigger all kinds of celebrity driven Hope for Humanity telethons and concerts, and an upswell of individual giving which is wonderful, but it’s sad it takes a natural disaster to do that and at the same time we can’t be lulled into thinking this is a one-off unavoidable tragedy, donate $10 and go back to our normal lives. Haiti was in trouble for a long time before this quake, and many other countries are in trouble right now whether it’s lack of clean water or rising sea levels threatening the survival of their people.
We are led to believe that our rich countries are stretched to the limit, and absolutely are doing all they can. In actual fact, international governments have promised to do a whole lot more, and have been breaking these promises in a big way for at least forty years.
This isn’t about picking up the financial slack where our governments have failed. Of course help however you can, but what we really need is a mass awakening from apathy to anger, and from anger will come the passion and demand for governments to change the way they are running our world. The media has to start giving more productive, fact-based (not fear based) information, and stop repressing and ignoring information that we have a right to know. If there’s only one new thing you do this week, it is to become conscious of the degree to which you personally demand greater justice and balance for this world and to lift it up a notch. Consciousness is not immediately physically visible, but consciousness counts. It is our growing collective consciousness around the kind of Earth and Humanity we want to have, and the guidances you will naturally receive around what you personally can do, that will ultimately create it. Wherever a higher consciousness exists, a lower consciousness cannot, and that is how we can literally squeeze out the lies, corruption and abuse of power too many people have been suffocated by for too long.
The international governments can’t keep pressing their eyes shut, hoping much like children playing hide and seek that if they don’t actually look at the world, the world won’t be able to see them and thus they won’t have to do anything about its condition. The Earth is moving into a higher vibration, but too many of the power elite are still desperately trying to hold on to their old ways thinking no-one will notice. Events like the Haiti earthquake are making people aware of previously ignored human brothers and sisters. We are noticing perhaps for the first time the conditions in which they were living, before the quake. Yet it is not enough to look at Haiti and think ‘poor people, they didn’t have a chance.’ I wish that international leaders would be more honest about their broken promises and say “Those people did have a chance. We were supposed to give them a chance. We just chose not to.”

• Spend 10 min a day in meditation, focusing on your breath, connecting with your heart, feeling yourself as part of All that Is. When you do this regularly, this state of being becomes more and more familiar to you, making it easier to sustain during the day. This connected state is a higher state of consciousness. You can do a lot of good from this state, and will more easily be guided to the best ways in which you can help others.
• Gravitate to positive, empowering sources of information and media.
• Find a way every day to do something good, kind or giving. Call a friend you haven’t talked to in a while, cook a meal for someone who is super busy or super stressed, smile more, tell your partner you love and appreciate them, hug your kids.
• Visualise what you would like your world to look like – your home, your work, your community, your country, your Earth.
• Tell yourself every day: I can make a difference, conscious action counts!

Happy New Year everyone! In these times the evolution and awakening of humanity, and every one of us within it, is paramount. In a nutshell, our Earth is shifting into a new dimension and all beings, all systems, all structures, have to shift up with her - or shift out. It is literally like the phase the US just went through of making all television sets digital, where everyone was asked to change over, because the day came when the old analogue just didn't work anymore. This shift applies to everything from personal emotional patterns and mental beliefs, to economic systems and the environment. We are being called to align with the higher energies raining down upon us. People are saying "I hope 2010 will be better than 2009, 2009 was so hard!". How you experience this year will totally depend on the degree to which you align with the higher energies and your own higher self. If you allow yourself to go with the flow your own good instincts are directing you toward (I talk about this in this month's Monthly Visions) then this year will be the most fabulous year you have experienced yet. If you resist your own flow and choose to follow old thoughts and beliefs, it will be hard for as long as you stay in resistance. Don't take my word for it - you will feel it in your own body and life. Watch your thoughts - manifestation is happening very fast now to the point where something you think is going to show up in your life faster and faster for better or worse. If you ask for a certain amount of money that you absolutely need to pay a bill; bang, it will arrive. Likewise, if you fall into an old pattern of say criticizing yourself or judging others or doubting the Universe's ability to provide for you; ouch, you might feel it instantly in your body with a sore neck or tight knot in the stomach. Your body is helping you - it wants you to align with the higher energies and it will show you very clearly when you are not.
My work is to help people remember who they are, understand this profound shift that we are going through, and have the journey through it be as empowering as possible. My deep knowing is that we are all amazing, divine beings with limitless untapped potential. My passion for this work is fuelled by this knowing - and by the anger I feel knowing that much of humanity has intentionally been repressed on all levels (spiritual, technological, energetic, economic, mental, emotional, physical, environmental, the list goes on) by certain elements. We are living in a world where we can have free energy for all, healthy bodies, well-fed people and happy lives doing what we love, knowing our true history and place in the Universe. January 2010: Breaking Free!
Welcome to 2010! This is the year of owning your Power and Being who you really are. I would like to invite you now to take a moment to commit to doing that. Set your intention clearly for the coming year. See yourself as owning your power and being who you really are. You may not know what that looks like, or how you will get there. Doesn’t matter. Your intention is everything. A heartfelt prayer, along with a deep willingness to let it in, will show you the way.
In fact, the less of an idea we have of what ‘owning our power’ and ‘being who we really are’ looks like the better. We have so many false ideas and beliefs around what this is supposed to look like for us, that may be totally off track as far as our true self and highest potential is concerned. Oprah has this saying that I love “God has a bigger dream for you than you could ever possibly dream for yourself”. Our conceptions of what is possible for us are like glass ceilings bumping up against our heads, causing us to feel frustrated even whilst we are convinced we are striving to reach our greatest heights. We are so much greater than we allow ourselves to believe. Likewise, our ambitions of what is desirable may be based on old and outdated versions of who we once were, or thought we were, or were told we were, leading us on a golden-plated brick road: looks good on the surface but is fake underneath.
When we have a strong intention to own our power and be who we really are, surrendering the how to God/the Universe, following the moment by moment cookie crumbs, we will find our bliss. We will find our bliss every day along the journey, and we will find it within our various destinations. Our destinations may match our goals and dreams exactly or far surpass them or look nothing like them, only better. Let life surprise you!
People often ask how to ‘follow the moment by moment cookie crumbs’, feeling they have trouble tuning in to their intuition. Firstly, let’s get clear on what intuition is. It is how your true/higher/authentic self communicates with you. It is with you ALL the time, voicing itself via your daily feelings and inspirations. What do you feel now? What do you want to do now? If you want to know what your intuition is saying at any given moment, answer those two questions honestly and you’ll know. If your answers feel complex and multi-layered it helps to write it out. What started out as “I feel totally bored and frustrated!’ is your intuition saying something like “I want a different kind of work” or “I love my work but I want more business” or “I want to work less and play more”. Give it a chance to speak and it will definitely come out on the page!
I think that most of us have no problem tuning in to our intuition, only we don’t realise that’s what it is. Our problem is not that we can’t hear it, our problem is that we chronically ignore it, fight it, over-ride it and talk ourselves out of it. Then we wonder why we aren’t getting to where we want to go.
Our intuition (frustration) says: “It is time to leave this marriage, it is emotionally and physically unhealthy for you. You will be so much happier when you set yourself free.” Our fear says: “You can’t live alone, you’ll never make it. How will you survive?”
Our intuition (passion) says: “I would love to change career and study something new.” Our doubt says: “You’re too old. You’ll never find another job. You have a mortgage to pay. Stay here.”
Our intuition (inner guidance) says: “Give me ten minutes to tell you something in a meditation or in your journal and you’ll have so much more clarity about this.” Our stressed mind says: “I’m too busy. I don’t have time.”
We all have intuition, but too often we don’t follow it. We like how it feels – it definitely feels better than the critical, negative alternate thoughts – but we have this strange problem trusting good thoughts and feelings. Maybe we think we don’t deserve good things? Maybe we feel life can’t be that easy? Bottom line is, most people believe in their doubts and fears, more than they believe in their intuition. Yet when we follow our own inner promptings, they will never let us down. We have to learn to trust our intuition, more than we trust our doubts and fears. We don’t trust it because it often asks us to do something that is beyond our comfort zone. Whether it’s a huge thing like leaving a job or marriage, or stopping our busy-ness for 10 minutes to have some meditation or journaling time, we are wired to look at the risks of doing so. We have developed this really unhealthy human mantra “I can’t, because ...”
Following our intuition often requires making a leap into the unknown, which can be scary, but it is also feels exhilarating, exciting and expansive to our soul.
We are all being called now to make a great leap in consciousness, and thus great leaps in our daily lives, great leaps into the unknown, and are being challenged on every level. With any leap to a higher vibration, it is the way of energy that anything not in alignment with the new vibration is brought to our attention. When you commit to a new level of success, health, love or abundance, you can be sure that all your old beliefs, habits and patterns will rear their heads! In setting our intention to own our power and be who we really are, all we engage in that contradicts our intention, within ourselves and externally, will be made known.
On the one hand this is great. The louder and more obvious a belief or pattern is, the easier to clear it right? However, sometimes this can feel downright disheartening. Depending on factors like our history, level of consciousness and emotional state we can feel like a force beyond our control is trying to keep us down when every bone in our body is trying to rise up and shift forward. Making a quantum leap isn’t easy – if it were, we’d be doing it every day in every way – and sometimes it can feel easier to stay in the old, familiar mould you’re used to. However when we are designed to reach our highest potential, as I believe we all are, we have to find a way to break free of our old moulds or risk living a life that feels lacking in life. Breaking free has two components: 1) Don’t under-estimate how strong your old mould is. There is power in acknowledging it and it’s affect on everything from who you believe yourself to be, to what you create/attract in your life. 2) Don’t under-estimate your ability to break free of the mould, nor your strength to do so. You are stronger than the mould. The mould is not you. The mould is that which has been covering you.
I got to thinking about this when I was looking at the way the new sunflowers are growing, that I recently helped my sister Jelena and her partner Danny plant outside the house. They all started as identical seeds with identical potential, however external conditions have definitely moulded them differently. Those sunflowers that receive the most light due to their optimum position are the tallest and look the strongest. Those by the wall that receive a few hours less of direct sunlight a day are much shorter, and seem more delicate. I mentioned this to Jel, wondering if the smaller sunflowers would catch up to the bigger ones. She told me about their corn.
Jel and Danny planted their corn seeds into individual pots. As the first shoots began to show, they re-planted about half into the ground. They re-planted the other half a couple of weeks later. The corn that had gone into the ground first shot up, and ended up about 5 feet tall. The second lot of corn, that had spent more time in the individual pots before having the freedom to grow in the ground without limitations, was less than half the size. It didn’t catch up to its larger brothers and sisters.
I thought about how we humans are like that too. If we receive all we need to grow, it is much easier to be the successful, healthy, prosperous ‘sunflower’. When we don’t receive all we need, especially in childhood, we tend to emerge into adulthood with issues like low self-worth, self-doubt and lack of self-love. Strive as we might to become the tall sunflower, we repeat the story of our childhood over and over again sabotaging our movement forward. Even while we desire to change, it is like we are somehow programmed to live within certain restricted conditions bouncing back into our box each time our head gets too close to the ceiling. Whilst some people have been raised to think “I can do whatever I want” others were taught the exact opposite. Thus the mould begins.
Two-thirds of prisoners re-offend and end up living more of their lives in prison than outside it. When restriction becomes our comfort zone, we don’t even know how to be in freedom. Whether it is literal freedom, or the freedom of a new level of income, success, health, love, power or authenticity, that which we most desire can also be that which we most fear. It is new and unknown, and if we’ve never truly had it then it can feel like the scariest thing in the world to move into it. Our doubts and fears have a field-day letting us know why we can’t, while our intuition is in each moment showing us how we can.
Whether we are conscious of it or not, growth and evolution is our natural state of being. In a state of non-conscious evolution, when we aren’t aware of things like our intuition or how to use it, we spend our lives bouncing around between banging our head on the ceiling, and slumped on the floor with exhaustion and frustration wondering what we’re doing wrong. Worse, we may not even realise there is a higher level above us to which we can aspire. In a state of conscious evolution we are aware of that higher level and are equipped with more tools to guide our way there, like the acknowledgement of our intuition, yet still it has been my professional observation, and personal experience, that consciousness alone will not get us there.
We need a fuel, a rocket-launcher, to literally propel us from one level to another, to help us make our quantum leaps. There may be many, but one rocket-launcher is definitely Focused Intention and an unwavering Commitment to follow it’s trajectory no matter what. Too often we don’t get lift-off because we set our intention, the doubts and old beliefs invariably come up, yet instead of dismissing them with a simple ‘Yes I thought you might show up, well goodbye, I’m off to higher ground’ we let ourselves get pulled down by them. We analyse them, we explore them, we try to understand them, we try to heal and release them. We give them attention and focus, and we all know: you end up where your focus is. So back in the box we remain.
People often ask me about the role of action in our leaps of consciousness. Surely we have to DO something to get from here to there if we have a goal? Well yes, having set your intention, and committed to following your moment by moment cookie crumbs, follow the answers you get to your 2 important questions: What do I feel now? What do I want to do now?
Finally, another action that I’ve found to be very powerful, literally propelling the rocket up, up and away, is the action of saying no to all those doubts and beliefs that crop up once you’ve set your intention. Whether they come from within, or are mirrored to you by external circumstances or the opinions and behaviours of those around you, they will come, guaranteed. Your job is not to wonder “Now why have I attracted all this negative re-inforcement? I must not be ready.” Your job is to smile and say “Yes yes I was expecting as much. Well can’t stay and chat, I have greener pastures to head to” and keep your intention on your focus.
When we do this we are over-riding our old mould program, and allowing ourselves to break free into the Universal program that has no limits. In this program, whatever you think about tends to manifest quite rapidly so it’s a good thing we really don’t break free into it before we’re ready. However you are now ready. We have had our training, and we are ready for rocket-launch!
Start the New Year by setting your intention. If you know you need help with certain things ask the Universe/Creator to help you. You don’t have to do this alone, and we aren’t meant to do it alone. Welcome to 2010! This is the year of owning your Power and Being who you really are. I would like to invite you now to take a moment to commit to doing that. Set your intention clearly for the coming year. See yourself as owning your power and being who you really are. You may not know what that looks like, or how you will get there. Doesn’t matter. Your intention is everything. A heartfelt prayer, along with a deep willingness to let it in, will show you the way.
In fact, the less of an idea we have of what ‘owning our power’ and ‘being who we really are’ looks like the better. We have so many false ideas and beliefs around what this is supposed to look like for us, that may be totally off track as far as our true self and highest potential is concerned. Oprah has this saying that I love “God has a bigger dream for you than you could ever possibly dream for yourself”. Our conceptions of what is possible for us are like glass ceilings bumping up against our heads, causing us to feel frustrated even whilst we are convinced we are striving to reach our greatest heights. We are so much greater than we allow ourselves to believe. Likewise, our ambitions of what is desirable may be based on old and outdated versions of who we once were, or thought we were, or were told we were, leading us on a golden-plated brick road: looks good on the surface but is fake underneath.
When we have a strong intention to own our power and be who we really are, surrendering the how to God/the Universe, following the moment by moment cookie crumbs, we will find our bliss. We will find our bliss every day along the journey, and we will find it within our various destinations. Our destinations may match our goals and dreams exactly or far surpass them or look nothing like them, only better. Let life surprise you!
People often ask how to ‘follow the moment by moment cookie crumbs’, feeling they have trouble tuning in to their intuition. Firstly, let’s get clear on what intuition is. It is how your true/higher/authentic self communicates with you. It is with you ALL the time, voicing itself via your daily feelings and inspirations. What do you feel now? What do you want to do now? If you want to know what your intuition is saying at any given moment, answer those two questions honestly and you’ll know. If your answers feel complex and multi-layered it helps to write it out. What started out as “I feel totally bored and frustrated!’ is your intuition saying something like “I want a different kind of work” or “I love my work but I want more business” or “I want to work less and play more”. Give it a chance to speak and it will definitely come out on the page!
I think that most of us have no problem tuning in to our intuition, only we don’t realise that’s what it is. Our problem is not that we can’t hear it, our problem is that we chronically ignore it, fight it, over-ride it and talk ourselves out of it. Then we wonder why we aren’t getting to where we want to go.
Our intuition (frustration) says: “It is time to leave this marriage, it is emotionally and physically unhealthy for you. You will be so much happier when you set yourself free.” Our fear says: “You can’t live alone, you’ll never make it. How will you survive?”
Our intuition (passion) says: “I would love to change career and study something new.” Our doubt says: “You’re too old. You’ll never find another job. You have a mortgage to pay. Stay here.”
Our intuition (inner guidance) says: “Give me ten minutes to tell you something in a meditation or in your journal and you’ll have so much more clarity about this.” Our stressed mind says: “I’m too busy. I don’t have time.”
We all have intuition, but too often we don’t follow it. We like how it feels – it definitely feels better than the critical, negative alternate thoughts – but we have this strange problem trusting good thoughts and feelings. Maybe we think we don’t deserve good things? Maybe we feel life can’t be that easy? Bottom line is, most people believe in their doubts and fears, more than they believe in their intuition. Yet when we follow our own inner promptings, they will never let us down. We have to learn to trust our intuition, more than we trust our doubts and fears. We don’t trust it because it often asks us to do something that is beyond our comfort zone. Whether it’s a huge thing like leaving a job or marriage, or stopping our busy-ness for 10 minutes to have some meditation or journaling time, we are wired to look at the risks of doing so. We have developed this really unhealthy human mantra “I can’t, because ...”
Following our intuition often requires making a leap into the unknown, which can be scary, but it is also feels exhilarating, exciting and expansive to our soul.
We are all being called now to make a great leap in consciousness, and thus great leaps in our daily lives, great leaps into the unknown, and are being challenged on every level. With any leap to a higher vibration, it is the way of energy that anything not in alignment with the new vibration is brought to our attention. When you commit to a new level of success, health, love or abundance, you can be sure that all your old beliefs, habits and patterns will rear their heads! In setting our intention to own our power and be who we really are, all we engage in that contradicts our intention, within ourselves and externally, will be made known.
On the one hand this is great. The louder and more obvious a belief or pattern is, the easier to clear it right? However, sometimes this can feel downright disheartening. Depending on factors like our history, level of consciousness and emotional state we can feel like a force beyond our control is trying to keep us down when every bone in our body is trying to rise up and shift forward. Making a quantum leap isn’t easy – if it were, we’d be doing it every day in every way – and sometimes it can feel easier to stay in the old, familiar mould you’re used to. However when we are designed to reach our highest potential, as I believe we all are, we have to find a way to break free of our old moulds or risk living a life that feels lacking in life. Breaking free has two components: 1) Don’t under-estimate how strong your old mould is. There is power in acknowledging it and it’s affect on everything from who you believe yourself to be, to what you create/attract in your life. 2) Don’t under-estimate your ability to break free of the mould, nor your strength to do so. You are stronger than the mould. The mould is not you. The mould is that which has been covering you.
I got to thinking about this when I was looking at the way the new sunflowers are growing, that I recently helped my sister Jelena and her partner Danny plant outside the house. They all started as identical seeds with identical potential, however external conditions have definitely moulded them differently. Those sunflowers that receive the most light due to their optimum position are the tallest and look the strongest. Those by the wall that receive a few hours less of direct sunlight a day are much shorter, and seem more delicate. I mentioned this to Jel, wondering if the smaller sunflowers would catch up to the bigger ones. She told me about their corn.
Jel and Danny planted their corn seeds into individual pots. As the first shoots began to show, they re-planted about half into the ground. They re-planted the other half a couple of weeks later. The corn that had gone into the ground first shot up, and ended up about 5 feet tall. The second lot of corn, that had spent more time in the individual pots before having the freedom to grow in the ground without limitations, was less than half the size. It didn’t catch up to its larger brothers and sisters.
I thought about how we humans are like that too. If we receive all we need to grow, it is much easier to be the successful, healthy, prosperous ‘sunflower’. When we don’t receive all we need, especially in childhood, we tend to emerge into adulthood with issues like low self-worth, self-doubt and lack of self-love. Strive as we might to become the tall sunflower, we repeat the story of our childhood over and over again sabotaging our movement forward. Even while we desire to change, it is like we are somehow programmed to live within certain restricted conditions bouncing back into our box each time our head gets too close to the ceiling. Whilst some people have been raised to think “I can do whatever I want” others were taught the exact opposite. Thus the mould begins.
Two-thirds of prisoners re-offend and end up living more of their lives in prison than outside it. When restriction becomes our comfort zone, we don’t even know how to be in freedom. Whether it is literal freedom, or the freedom of a new level of income, success, health, love, power or authenticity, that which we most desire can also be that which we most fear. It is new and unknown, and if we’ve never truly had it then it can feel like the scariest thing in the world to move into it. Our doubts and fears have a field-day letting us know why we can’t, while our intuition is in each moment showing us how we can.
Whether we are conscious of it or not, growth and evolution is our natural state of being. In a state of non-conscious evolution, when we aren’t aware of things like our intuition or how to use it, we spend our lives bouncing around between banging our head on the ceiling, and slumped on the floor with exhaustion and frustration wondering what we’re doing wrong. Worse, we may not even realise there is a higher level above us to which we can aspire. In a state of conscious evolution we are aware of that higher level and are equipped with more tools to guide our way there, like the acknowledgement of our intuition, yet still it has been my professional observation, and personal experience, that consciousness alone will not get us there.
We need a fuel, a rocket-launcher, to literally propel us from one level to another, to help us make our quantum leaps. There may be many, but one rocket-launcher is definitely Focused Intention and an unwavering Commitment to follow it’s trajectory no matter what. Too often we don’t get lift-off because we set our intention, the doubts and old beliefs invariably come up, yet instead of dismissing them with a simple ‘Yes I thought you might show up, well goodbye, I’m off to higher ground’ we let ourselves get pulled down by them. We analyse them, we explore them, we try to understand them, we try to heal and release them. We give them attention and focus, and we all know: you end up where your focus is. So back in the box we remain.
People often ask me about the role of action in our leaps of consciousness. Surely we have to DO something to get from here to there if we have a goal? Well yes, having set your intention, and committed to following your moment by moment cookie crumbs, follow the answers you get to your 2 important questions: What do I feel now? What do I want to do now?
Finally, another action that I’ve found to be very powerful, literally propelling the rocket up, up and away, is the action of saying no to all those doubts and beliefs that crop up once you’ve set your intention. Whether they come from within, or are mirrored to you by external circumstances or the opinions and behaviours of those around you, they will come, guaranteed. Your job is not to wonder “Now why have I attracted all this negative re-inforcement? I must not be ready.” Your job is to smile and say “Yes yes I was expecting as much. Well can’t stay and chat, I have greener pastures to head to” and keep your intention on your focus.
When we do this we are over-riding our old mould program, and allowing ourselves to break free into the Universal program that has no limits. In this program, whatever you think about tends to manifest quite rapidly so it’s a good thing we really don’t break free into it before we’re ready. However you are now ready. We have had our training, and we are ready for rocket-launch!
Start the New Year by setting your intention. If you know you need help with certain things ask the Universe/Creator to help you. You don’t have to do this alone, and we aren’t meant to do it alone. The Universal forces are all around you, just waiting to help you whether you want to embody more calm and patience, abundance, empowerment, self-worth or joy. Ask and you shall receive.

I often receive emails from people who have general questions about the various aspects of conscious evolution and this new reality we are all shifting into personally and collectively: manifesting, how to tune in to your higher self and intuition, meditation, soulmates, feeling lost and confused etc. These questions are universally asked, and when shared they can help others who are feeling the same way. I thought it would be great to have all these questions in one space, and I've wanted to add a message boards function for a long time, so today I went ahead and did that! I'll be popping in regularly to respond to posts, yet more importantly I wanted to create a community Q&A space that anyone can visit anytime they need to seek support, receive inspiration, have a bit of a release or share an experience or some wisdom. As well as posting questions, I invite everyone to share your thoughts, stories and time, as we all have unique and insightful perspectives and contributions to make. What is easy or obvious to you, might be the lightbulb moment, healing balm or piece of inspiration someone else needs that day. Likewise, there is no such thing as a silly question, so don't feel your question is probably not worth asking. If you're having a hard time with something, you can be sure millions of other people in the world are too. As we edge toward the last days of 2009 the usual busy-ness of the festive season seems like a calm walk in the park compared to the last minute 'zappings' everyone seems to be getting right about now. December 2009 Monthly Visions: Farewell to 2009 and Wake up to 2012...
As we edge toward the last days of 2009 the usual busy-ness of the festive season seems like a calm walk in the park compared to the last minute ‘zappings’ everyone seems to be getting right about now.
Have you dealt with your power issues? Zzzzzzap! Have you really? Zzzzzzap again just to be sure. Have you dealt with your inner child stuff? Your lack mentality? You’re ‘I’m not good enough/I’m not worthy/Who am I to be great and successful and loved’ beliefs? Zap! Zap! Zap! It’s like some crazy angel has got a hold of a police taser and is running wild with it, giggling with glee at the fun of it.
In defence of the crazy angel, enough is enough don’t you agree? Enough of allowing yourself not to be treated as you deserve to be. Enough of putting up with relationships or jobs that don’t make you happy. Enough of convincing yourself that ‘real life’ over-rides your dreams. Enough of people thinking they are the boss of your life, or as I like to say the driver behind the wheel of your car. Enough of using old-worn out excuses about why you can’t do this or are still doing that. Even you don’t believe yourself anymore when you say these things. Enough of pretending you are less than you are.
And that’s what it really comes down to: enough of pretending you are less than you are.
You see, for many lifetimes we have all been walking around wearing masks, donning layers of stuff (which we came to call issues) and dimming our light, all for the sake of a big evolutionary experiment. We thought it would be fabulous fun to come to this Planet Earth, and totally forget who we really are. We would get to experience all kinds of emotions: frustration, excitement, anger, betrayal, trust, love, hate, resentment, judgement, passion; it was a literal cornucopia of feelings heaven.
How many times would we have to be taken advantage of before we remembered our natural power and learned to stand up for ourselves? How many times would we have to face the disappointment of parental or societal expectations, and feel bad about it, before we remembered we aren’t here to live up to their expectations? How many times would we have to act like we really weren’t all that smart or talented or qualified or young or old or beautiful enough before we remembered we are divine, eternal, creator beings and are equipped with all we need to do and be all we want?
Clearly, many times!
The Universe has been generous with us. We’ve had plenty of lifetimes to have fun playing this little game. Even within this lifetime, we’ve had years of journeying through issues and themes we’ve wanted to explore. It’s been great. Meanwhile, a looming realisation has been coming over many of us. This ‘game’ was not meant to last forever. This game had a set end date, by which time the aim was to be fully awakened from our self-imposed ‘forgetting’. By which time we would have experimented with and experienced a myriad of issues and themes, and emerged out the other side as the divine souls we always were, yet with new wisdom. That time is nearly here, and one could say it is here.
The Mayans saw, and see, life as a series of cycles. A Mayan cycle of time lasts 5125 years. Five cycles equals a Grand Cycle. The end of a Grand Cycle is coming up at the end of 2012, which is why Dec 21 2012 has always been associated with the end of time. The Mayans did not, and do not, see this as the end of time, merely the end of time as we know it. It is the end of one way of being, and the beginning of another way of being. They foresaw that as one great cycle ended, and a new one began, humanity would experience a giant leap in consciousness – or self-destruction - as the Earth moved from the third dimensional vibration to a higher fifth dimensional vibration. Essentially, the Earth is shifting into a higher level of consciousness – with or without us. We either shift our vibration with her, or we shift out, to put it bluntly.
The end of each cycle also signifies the alignment of our Sun with the Great Central Sun of our Galaxy. When this happens, in non-scientific terms, light spurts out from the Centre affecting our sun, producing intense solar flares, explosions of energy, which affect the Earth’s magnetic fields. Disturbance of the magnetic fields can influence everything from airplane navigational equipment and communications systems to weather patterns and migraine headaches. NASA are predicting a powerful Solar Storm for, yep, 2012, with a potential scenario being all electric power being cut for months. This is not meant to scare, rather when a scientific prediction meets ancient prophecy meets astronomical data, one might want to take notice of that. Personally I find it much easier to deal with things when I know why it is happening. On an energy level, this light is said to trigger mass shifts of consciousness, helping us out from our ‘forgetting’ state and pushing us into our ‘remembering’ state.
So, here we are at the end of 2009 with three years to go. What does now have to do with the end of 2012 you may be thinking? Well, if you look at a 5125 year cycle as being shown on a big galactic clock, we are at 2 seconds to midnight. Just like childbirth doesn’t suddenly happen when the baby’s head emerges, our ‘shift’ won’t suddenly happen on the day of Dec 21 2012 (which is a controversial estimate anyway). Certainly something may or may not happen around then that is a big cosmic surprise, who knows, but essentially we are currently in the intense last stages of labour as the light coming from the Galactic Centre has already started to do its work.
We have already entered the energies associated with 2012, and are thus experiencing the consequences: anything that is vibrating at less than the new vibratory rate to which we are ‘ascending’ is getting pushed out and demolished. Old patterns and ‘issues’ that are still within us, but simply cannot exist in the new vibration (because they are based in fear or lack which doesn’t exist in the higher dimensions), are being ‘tasered’ out of us...zap, zap, zap! That which we have avoided or not wanted to confront is becoming so loud, ugly or huge that it is impossible to ignore it anymore....be it in your personal life, work life, with partners, family or friends, or on the global, political stage. I have never known so many people finding themselves in court to finally resolve an ongoing issue, leaving long-term careers or relationships to pursue something completely different, making major geographical moves, and undergoing what seems like an entire personality change. What used to fit just doesn’t anymore. We have outgrown our costumes, and it’s time to take them off.
What happens to those things (or people) who haven’t shifted by the end of this cycle? What happens to those who have shifted? I don’t know. I’ve asked Mayan priests and Native American medicine men. They all say the same thing: nobody knows what is going to happen. Going back to the childbirth analogy, I guess no-one really knows how the birth is going to go, what the baby is going to look and be like, and who he or she will become as the future unfolds. All I know is I’ve had this loud message inside me as long as I can remember: help as many people as possible wake up. There has been a sense of urgency attached to this message, as if there was a deadline, that they had to wake up by a certain time. I didn’t know until I was in my 20’s what this certain time was, but when I heard about the Mayan and Hopi prophecies, and as the events of the last 8 years have heated up since 9/11, I now know they were referring to these times that we are in now leading up to the end of this cycle.
What does it mean to ‘shift’? To ‘wake up’? It is about remembering our true natures, who we really are. It is about remembering that this thing we call reality is just part of a much greater reality where true reality surpasses our wildest dreams. It is about liberating ourselves, unplugging from ‘the game’, and moving forward as our authentic selves, connected to our Source energy, knowing we are divine, eternal, creator beings.
So, it looks like this crazy angel going around zapping us is actually a helper from this central galactic light. She’s doing it with love, with each zap acting like an alarm clock that won’t shut up until you open your eyes: Wake up wake up wake up! She doesn’t want you to be late for your new job.

As we edge toward the last days of 2009 the usual busy-ness of the festive season seems like a calm walk in the park compared to the last minute ‘zappings’ everyone seems to be getting right about now.
Have you dealt with your power issues? Zzzzzzap! Have you really? Zzzzzzap again just to be sure. Have you dealt with your inner child stuff? Your lack mentality? You’re ‘I’m not good enough/I’m not worthy/Who am I to be great and successful and loved’ beliefs? Zap! Zap! Zap! It’s like some crazy angel has got a hold of a police taser and is running wild with it, giggling with glee at the fun of it.
In defence of the crazy angel, enough is enough don’t you agree? Enough of allowing yourself not to be treated as you deserve to be. Enough of putting up with relationships or jobs that don’t make you happy. Enough of convincing yourself that ‘real life’ over-rides your dreams. Enough of people thinking they are the boss of your life, or as I like to say the driver behind the wheel of your car. Enough of using old-worn out excuses about why you can’t do this or are still doing that. Even you don’t believe yourself anymore when you say these things. Enough of pretending you are less than you are.
And that’s what it really comes down to: enough of pretending you are less than you are.
You see, for many lifetimes we have all been walking around wearing masks, donning layers of stuff (which we came to call issues) and dimming our light, all for the sake of a big evolutionary experiment. We thought it would be fabulous fun to come to this Planet Earth, and totally forget who we really are. We would get to experience all kinds of emotions: frustration, excitement, anger, betrayal, trust, love, hate, resentment, judgement, passion; it was a literal cornucopia of feelings heaven.
How many times would we have to be taken advantage of before we remembered our natural power and learned to stand up for ourselves? How many times would we have to face the disappointment of parental or societal expectations, and feel bad about it, before we remembered we aren’t here to live up to their expectations? How many times would we have to act like we really weren’t all that smart or talented or qualified or young or old or beautiful enough before we remembered we are divine, eternal, creator beings and are equipped with all we need to do and be all we want?
Clearly, many times!
The Universe has been generous with us. We’ve had plenty of lifetimes to have fun playing this little game. The year of 2009 rolls on, and so do we, as humanity continues to go through its shakedown. It is significant to me that later this week the Hollywood movie 2012 is being released. The trailer alone terrified me when I saw it so I can only imagine that sitting through 2 hours of that would be an emotional colonic like no other! (Bear in mind here that this movie may be your perfect thrill ride while I have a way of travelling into the energy of things that isn’t always good for my nervous system!)
The drama and destruction portrayed in this movie is however no different to the current feeling spreading through people about not just our ecology, but many different facets of human living.
Never before has there been such a developed understanding of ourselves as a race or as a planet. And as a result, never have the emotions been felt or processed by our race in such a raw and magnified way, by an ever growing population. So the limits of the planetary levels of feeling are being tested as a result. This of course, affects every individual.
Intense acceleration energies have been hitting the planet at a higher rate, since late 2008 and an increase again occurred in early April 2009. As a result of this, there has been an enormous amount stirred up for people and change everywhere happening in both fast and dramatic or unexpected ways.
This has led to the release of a lot of emotion, especially fear. Hopelessness has been a strong energy for many who previously believed in ‘The system’ of society. Uncertainty has been circulating in all departments. Ecologically, the forecasts for planetary resources and the planets movement are often foretold with much doom and a sense that no one is listening or ‘waking up’ in time. This creates a sense of anxiety and urgency.
So 2009 has been a year of intensity like no other for many people.
This year the theme of suicide and death has been at an all time high. Both around us, and at times, within many as a feeling. This is all because the old lives we led are being released. Not just individually but collectively. Plus, the effects of the warnings around climate change are hitting many sensitives in a horrifying way. Visions of tsunamis and the end of time are currently common among lightworkers and psychics, which is part of a cleansing of fear within this group.
So, the movie 2012 is the perfect symbol of how a collective are feeling.
This fear and its effects are the storm before the calm.
The month of November is highly significant this year. It represents the final cleanse of 2009 and the last release of an energy wave of planetary release that began in mid 2008.
So what can you expect this month? A lot will move out of you if you choose to allow it to. For those of you who have already released a lot this year, either physically (illness), emotionally or within your external life (relationships, homes, jobs), by mid month a new arrival of the future should be very evident. If you have spent a great deal of time mourning the past this year (sometimes for no obvious reason), then know that you are literally standing on the launch pad in this month. Things are about to take off for you individuals and the new will start in your life will begin appearing to counterbalance all of the loss you have been feeling.
For those of you who are feeling confused and adrift, but not really having any reason for it, the final emotions that this confusion announces will release in the second half of November, and shock will be a factor for some of you to catalyse this experience. Some of you haven’t wanted to feel too much emotionally this year given the heaviness in the masses, so you will feel it easier to feel as the lifting occurs in people generally through November. Emotions this month will move faster and in a lighter way than previously.
Some of you will enter December feeling like you are in a death process, and that you cannot believe how dark or bleak things seem to you. If that is your story, know that by about December 15th you will be almost catapulted out of that state. You have simply been holding onto your final emotional anchors for the past few months, and they will clear fast for you on the way out. But they may feel very dense as they go. So if this is you, be GOOD and GENTLE to yourselves for the days or weeks it lasts. Know too that it will be the making of you when it is over, and this approach is the way to best move through it.
Many of us have experienced the end of time within ourselves and within our lives so far this year. And November marks a beginning and an ending. It is a magical month in ways that will surprise you.
This month is a propulsion and a casting forward into a new reality for you.
The 11th of the month heralds the beginning of an energetic opening that will last until the end of the month – the 29th being the next time we hit 11.11.11. in numerology terms.
So decide, now, how you want to feel and be this month. For those decisions will manifest strongly at this time. It is a time to start living like you have never lived.
The movie 2012 is believed by some to be a foretelling of what is to come, and they are living in daily fear of that reality.
Imagine if it were? Wouldn’t you then want to have a party these last few years? If things get tough or heavy for me, I remind myself it could all be over tomorrow, and really that is the only way to live as a human being.
It is time to live in the now, without fear.

In June 2008 we left Sydney Australia with enough cash for 5 months and, after consulting our pendulum as to how long we’d be gone for, enough faith for 15 months! Well I’m happy to say that we landed back in Sydney a couple of weeks ago, and were gone almost 16 months!! Our journey turned out to be a Law of Attraction experiential adventure mixed in with living and breathing every step of the new reality as we collectively inch our way closer and closer to it.
Every month my guides prepared me for the content of the Monthly Visions to come by making me physically experience the predominant energies raining down onto and through us all. Collectively this has been a year of releasing any last remaining strands of our old reality energy, while simultaneously being pushed to remember our power as co-creators, to remember the power of our thoughts and feelings, to remember the power of who we really are.
Already I am feeling the colossal energies of 2010, and the major theme is: Power. It is time to step into our authentic power once and for all, to own all that resides within us, and to know that we have access to all that is available around us and above us. However, stepping into our Power is not something to be taken lightly, and with it comes great responsibility. Imagine if you had the power to manifest whatever you wanted whenever you wanted, but were coming from an ego space, or fear space? Your manifestations would certainly not be in alignment with your highest good, or the highest good of others. So, before we could be handed the sacred golden keys to our true spiritual inheritance, we had to ensure we were energetically, vibrationally and thus ethically ready first, to be able to use those keys with wisdom, integrity, respect and responsibility.
So preparation for this momentous ‘handover’ has been of vital importance this year. If you feel like every single issue you have ever had, even ones you thought you had dealt with and cleared years ago, came up for inspection and review, this is why. We cannot move forward totally into our power, into our new reality, if we are holding any specks of our old reality selves and belief systems. This is for our own good and protection. It ensures that anything and everything that we create in our new reality, is built on a strong, solid foundation in alignment with who we really are: divine heart-centred beings of light and love.
Fear, doubt, worry and ego have no place in our new reality. As you can see, anything in our ‘old world’ that was built on those old foundations of ours is rapidly collapsing be it the economy, relationships, jobs, governments, banking, insurance and health systems, old styles of education and media, our ways of being, our ways of living, our ways of treating ourselves and each other. In their place new structures and systems are rising – yet even they are being constantly tested for quality control and assurance with the main question being: Is what you are creating 100% in alignment with who you really are, with your divine nature, with Universal Law? It is no use trying to create anything, grow anything or hold on to anything, if it has old reality energy as its foundation, or even within its structure. The new reality energy simply won’t support it.
So what does this mean? Well, there is no more room for greed....or martyrdom. There is no more room for bullies....or victims. For those who have abused their power, it’s time to say goodbye to any behaviour and actions that they may have got away with up until now that takes power from others. Likewise for those of us who haven’t owned our power because we have associated success, prosperity or standing up for ourselves as being too material or too ‘unspiritual’, or we don’t feel worthy or good enough, or are used to someone else being in our ‘driver seat’, say goodbye to that too. The new reality energy isn’t into supporting old, false, lack-oriented stories about ourselves. It will no longer abide a small, select elite or guru’s lording it over the masses, using innocent people as their stepping stones to more and more and more, but it likewise will not indulge any lack of self-worth, self-value or self-respect. It will not indulge those who choose to take power from others to uplift themselves, nor will it indulge those who willingly hand over their power and make themselves small. Enough is enough. Our days of learning through suffering (or causing others to suffer) are over and done.
I was sitting on the plane on our way back to Sydney thinking about the many insights gained and magical living experiences we’d had during our travels. By some strange ticketing occurrence, we’d manifested business class on the last leg of our journey, and were very comfortable thank you very much, having freshened up with showers, fruit and the morning newspapers in the Air Pacific Business Lounge in Fiji, as you do. I remembered that on one of our last long flights I had jokingly remarked to Christian that next time we really would have to manifest a business class seat. I didn’t really give it another thought, yet here we were reclining in luxury. I am constantly in awe and humbled by the way the Universe responds to what we ask for, always in the most unexpected of ways.
As the plane started to descend, the pilot announced that the winds were pretty strong outside and we’d be in for some turbulence. I closed my eyes and did my usual thing that I do whenever taking off and landing: I visualise white light around the plane, and I thank the angels of the sky and the plane, and those of the pilots, crew and all on board for a safe smooth take-off, flight and landing. As we started to come in for landing I still had my eyes closed, when something out of the ordinary happened. All of a sudden my visualisations and prayers turned into rapid-fire affirmations of gratitude, thanking and blessing everything in my life: my health, my partner, my friends and family, my travels, my work, my clients, the abundance we’d received, that we were always protected and looked after. These are normal, daily affirmations for me, but they are generally something I do during meditation not something I fire off rapidly as my plane is about to land! For a moment I was a little freaked out thinking ‘Oh my god, am I about to die?? Here in Sydney of all places, having survived small planes in South America? Here with my family waiting for us?!” Next thing you know the plane, having levelled off just about to touch it’s wheels on the ground, SPED UP and went back INTO the sky!!!!!!
It is one thing to have this happen on a rollercoaster ride, but when it happens as you’re about to land in a plane, and it’s never happened before in my life in over a hundred flights, it is the strangest feeling in the world! I opened my eyes and looked around. The lady across the aisle had her mouth wide open and looked at me with a ‘What was that?!’ kind of face. Christian was his usual calm self and said “It’s just the wind. The pilot probably couldn’t land safely because of the wind.” Well I’ve landed in a typhoon before in Hong Kong. The wind didn’t seem to be a problem then! Something else was going on here. I turned to Christian and asked: “Have you totally made peace with being back in Sydney? Is any part of you still wanting to be travelling, or not wanting to be back here? Cause if so, I’m feeling you might want to let that go right about now!!” I asked myself the same questions. I had the clearest message go through me: you have to be here 100% or not at all.
Now, I’m not saying that our travel addicted energy caused this flight not to land, but the non-landing definitely gave me a chance to examine where my energy was at prior to landing. It gave us both a chance to affirm: “Okay, we are here in Sydney and as long as we’re here we are ready to be here and wanting to be here 100% physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.” The pilot circled Sydney and thankfully landed safely, to the sound of many people clapping!
Another strange thing that happened after landing is I looked at one of the rings I was wearing. It is a square green quartz. There was a huge chip in it! I had had a premonition about this for the past week, so it didn’t really surprise me but I was curious. Why did this ring have to crack? I loved it!! I made time to journal about it and the answer I got was this: When the plane went to land the first time, I was still holding on to some old reality stuff that essentially broke down to old issues around money, owning my power, freedom, independence and success. I was literally not allowed to land in Sydney (just like we are not allowed to fully land in our New Reality) with those old issues lingering. I had to let them go there and then. I was not allowed to have any more lack-oriented beliefs about my sense of self or the Universe’s ability to support me. I had experienced enough during my life, and especially during these recent travels, to know that I had vibrationally and physically done the work I needed to do to clear these old beliefs. They were now pretty much just puffs of smoke hovering around me, and my last task before landing was to blow them away once and for all.
In re-grouping my thoughts and energy while circling Sydney, and coming in for landing No.2, they showed me that a ‘Snap, Crackle, Pop’ effect happened. I had snapped out of one reality level that I was not allowed to be in anymore, crackled through a tunnel as I got my insights around what I had had to let go of to do that, and popped into a new level of reality as I committed to being more of who I really was.
Everyone keeps asking me how it is to be back home. I have never felt this ‘at home’ before upon returning after a long time away. I literally feel as if I have roots underneath my feet right now, and I think that is because regardless of how long we are here, I am here 100%. Christian feels the same way, and in every way we have hit the ground running. We are living on our grandmother’s wonderful 6 acre farm and working with the land. Work feels abundant and joyful. Christian, a gifted silversmith, is busy with orders for his jewellery using the beautiful gemstones we have picked up on our travels. We are catching up with much loved family and friends. It’s all flowing in a good, simple and balanced way.
I have been writing for a while now that we can longer have our feet in two realities at once. It is a time of consciously choosing: Where do you want to be? What do you want to be doing? To whom do you want to give allegiance, your authentic self or ego? What inner channel do you want to be tuned into: the good feeling, higher self, positive perspective, joy and appreciation channel or the fear, doubt and worry channel? It is time to choose. In our case, it felt like the Universe was saying; you’ve had a great trip and you’ll travel again soon, but when you’re in Sydney BE in Sydney. Don’t have even one shred of your energy not wanting to be in Sydney as the plane is about to land in Sydney!!! Given the alternate choice, I’m glad the pilot went back in the air for another shot!
If you are in a ho-hum 9-5 job but wishing you were self-employed or had another career, the Universe will find a way to either boot you out of your job or make it so unbearable that you eventually leave. Likewise with relationships that aren’t really working or situations that you have outgrown, don’t be shocked when things unravel if you don’t have the courage to step up and out.
It is time now to step into our Authentic Power, and let go of who we are not. We step into our Authentic Power simply by being who we are and following our heart-guidance in every moment as to what our Souls want and need to be doing. We were called to travel, we did. We were called to come home. We have. We do not have the time (tick tock 2012 is nearly here people), to use our logical mind, reasoning of why not, analysis paralysis, procrastination or lack of belief in ourselves and our own good intuition to hold ourselves back for one minute more. It is time now to be the light that you are, and use it to empower, inspire and encourage those around you simply by having it on. When we shine our lights brightly, and that’s all we need to do, we light the environment around us naturally helping others find their own light and their own way.
