You do make a difference

As you look out into the world, there are multiple realities existing simultaneously. Don't let the existence of the lower aspects of society and humanity, or even your own self, make you doubt the existence of the higher aspects. When you see the lower end of a see-saw you don't say "See, the see-saw is down, I have trouble believing a higher end even exists. I give up!"

Imagine that you are on that see-saw, with some aspects of you on the lower end, and some on the higher. People think that if they go on the higher end, whether by raising their consciousness or becoming more successful or wealthier or healthier or whatever the case, they are betraying those on the 'lower' end, but the opposite is true when done with integrity.

By raising your self in a good way, you are doing your bit to raise the whole. You help to bring yourself, and the whole, into greater balance.

People think that one person can't make a difference. Not only can one person make a difference, each aspect that is vibrating at a higher level of consciousness within each person makes a difference - for that individual, and for the collective. x

Surfing the waves...and falling off them

‘Raising your vibration’ isn’t an event that happens to us so much as it is a process and a moment by moment choice. It is something that requires our conscious awareness and vigilance in the initial stages, until more and more it becomes our new normal.

Just like larger waves make it easier for a surfer to ride for a longer time than smaller waves, the high frequency energy waves available to us now are making it easier to ride a higher vibration for longer. (Even if that means minutes instead of seconds, for others it will be days instead of hours).

Just like in the surf, the wave can make it easier for you, but it doesn't do it for you. Just like a surfer uses his or her skill, so too we use all we know to stay on the board: pay attention to how you are feeling, notice what your thoughts are if you are feeling not great, adjust your thoughts, focus on appreciating something, follow your inner nudges instead of ignoring them and so on.

Just like a surfer falls off his or her board sometimes, so do we. Living in a higher vibration is a mental/emotional/energetic space for a long time before it becomes a permanent, "I don't even have to think about it" dwelling place. You'll have your moments of feeling lower-vibrational emotions and thinking old negative-focused thoughts, but you will notice them sooner, and move through them and out of them faster.

When this happens, don't beat yourself up. Just get back on the board, and catch another wave. It gets easier and there are plenty of other surfers around you, seen and unseen, helping you along. x
