The World is Ready for You Now

The World is Ready for You Now

Video Version with Commentary is here

The other day I received a lovely response from a client who has beautiful potential for helping others through her gifts of writing and coaching, but has been held back by a few things including lack of confidence, and high integrity, feeling she has no original ideas  "What is there that hasn't already been said'?
There are likely lots of you reading this today who might feel the same and so I wanted to share my reply: The world needs more like you, people with high integrity helping others. Yes it’s all been said before, but it all hasn’t been heard before by those who are seeking. Different people respond to different writers/coaches/teachers/healers etc in different ways, so for every person who feels the call to help or inspire, know that there are people out there waiting to be helped, inspired, encouraged and supported.
This is not about encouraging dependency on those in the ‘personal growth’ business. We are living in times of empowering ourselves, and ideally we must first be encouraged to learn to look within for 'help' as our first port of call. However this doesn't mean we all pull in our ropes and have everyone fend for themselves like some sort of episode of Survivor. In between the two extremes of co-dependence and isolated independence is a healthy inter-dependence where we can all support each other in different ways.
There are many ways of supporting others if you feel called to do so, and the ‘personal growth’ field is just one of a myriad of paths a person can take in their decision as to what kind of work to do. The main thing I am seeing these days is people who are wanting their work to be more meaningful and fulfilling personally, and to make a positive contribution to the community and world. People are also wanting to feel free to express their creativity and other innate interests and talents, as part of their daily life not just as a sometimes hobby. This is going to lead to the expansion of so many wonderful offerings: organic, local food, sustainable off-the-grid housing,  more health-and-environment conscious products.
The arena of ‘consciousness is eventually no longer going to be relegated to that meditation you did this morning, or the workshop you are going to on the weekend. Consciousness is driving every aspect of our life, and of society, right now, and even though we can still see lots of non-conscious behaviour and actions, we are also seeing a very rapid increase in the opposite: consciousness in action.
So whatever you are feeling called to do, do it or at the least consider doing it. You may not have been ready before, the world may not have been ready before, but it is ready now and so are you.

Living in 'Now' Time

It is an interesting feeling living in the NOW, almost like not standing on solid ground, yet it's more stable really than where we used to stand which was predominantly constantly in the past or future.  Living in the past can have us feeling emotions like regret, anger and resentment a lot of the time. Living in the future results in a lot of unnecessary and unhelpful worry, fear, doubt and anxiety. Living in the Now feels, well, strange at first. Yes it can feel very calming and soothing, allowing yourself to trust life, trust yourself and trust your connection to that which is guiding you, all the time.  At first though, it can feel like you are in a void, neither here nor there.
We are used to being very attached to things, to belongings, to people, to situations, to jobs.  Take ‘time’ out of the equation, and all of a sudden a whole bunch of stuff becomes irrelevant.  Simultaneously, a few things stand out as being truly valuable and truly precious to you, leading to a greater appreciation of what is truly important, and a stronger desire to live your life accordingly.
Living in the Now leads to a sense of detachment when it comes to certain situations that previously would have had you plugged in. Ideally this is a healthy detachment to those things that were not really serving you, but detachment of any kind can feel disconcerting. It can make you feel ‘disconnected’ if you have been overly attached to someone or something external to you, or previously received your sense of identity from that someone or something.
A very relevant comment came through recently with someone saying well does living in the Now mean we not worry about next month’s bills? For the record I have learned not to worry about bills due next week let alone next month, and yes this includes those times I have no idea where it’s going to come from. I've learned to trust, not on blind faith, but from experience after experience where the money that we truly need always comes when we most need it. This doesn’t mean I sit around waiting for miracles to fall out of the sky. You learn to listen to your instincts, to follow those inner nudges and prompts. They are the keys that unlock and open doorways of opportunity. They are the Hansel and Gretel cookie crumbs that lead us to magical (natural) synchronicities. They are our inner GPS at work, providing lightbulb moments of clarity, saying this way, this way!
On a random, or not so random, note, 21 years ago I took off my watch and haven’t worn one since. Has that helped me live in ‘Now’ time, not having this watch attached to my body? Of course like everyone I have to look at the clock, there are places to be, people to meet and so on. (Actually I've never had a clock in my home either -  the 'time' is not hard to find thanks to phones, computers, cars, etc etc) But has it made a difference not having a watch physically on my body this whole time? For me personally, I feel it has. I am curious however – has anyone else felt the need not to wear a watch, and have you felt that this has made a difference to your life?

Energetic and Emotional Over-Drive

The Video Version with commentary is here

This weekend we had a New Moon in the harmony-loving sign of Libra, but you’d be forgiven for thinking we’ve just gone through a super-powered Full Moon! There was (and still is) so much emotional energy in the air triggering torrents of anger, sadness and grief for many. Others may have felt a vague discomfort, feeling anxious or irritable for no apparent reason.  Aside from any astrological influences, one has to wonder if the Sun is finally doing its magnetic pole flip – scientists predicted a 3-4 month window back in August – only it’s a little hard to find out with the NASA website and majority of NASA staff not working at the moment due to the Government shutdown!
However, that ‘wondering’ may just be our human minds searching for some sort of logical, rational explanation for how so many of us are feeling right now when the truth is there is no  one logical or rational explanation. There are multiple explanations within an overall evolutionary explanation. We are now officially living in the Shift between an old way of living and being, and a new way of living and being.  If it feels like there is no solid ground to stand on right now, it’s because in many ways there isn’t! So much is in the process of flux and change as everything goes through its process of transformation, and this is why I’m regularly saying to everyone: Find your centre. Find that space inside you where you can feel stillness, silence, and a connection to your own inner/higher truth and guidance.  This will help you feel a sense of peace and calm when everything around you is turbulent. This will help to give you clarity and guidance as to a way forward, moment by moment, when the head is crying out “I am so confused, I don’t know what is going on and I don’t know what to do.” When you feel “I don’t know what to do” consider that there is a part of you that does know. Your conscious self may not know, but – call it what you like – your superconscious, subconscious, greater self, higher self, soul, does know.
We don’t have a map for the times we are in right now.  We can have our ideas and visions of generally what to expect in terms of eventual outcomes, and even have strong insights as to how those outcomes might come about, but really, we can’t know for sure because we are creating this as we go. Evolutionary shifts don’t come with a neat chart and graph explaining this is what is going to happen specifically, and these are the details of how it will occur, and this is how long it will last. We are living in the times of ‘blank pages’ when truly it is up to us as to what happens, and how we react to unexpected happenings.
Solar activity and government shutdowns are not new events.  Our sensitivity and emotional responses to these events however are new. We’ve never had so many people feel so affected emotionally, energetically and physically, by these sorts of events. We’ve never had so many events – be they in our personal life, the lives of our close family/friends, or in the greater social/global community – happening simultaneously. We’ve never been so aware of all these events, awareness made possible by the internet and social media. Our emotional systems are on overdrive, and so any external trigger is going to be felt by us a hundred times more than in previous years be it an astro influence, galactic waves, a solar flare, a political or social issue, or a personal or family relationship.
This heightened sensitivity and heightened tendency to feel everything is ultimately a positive and beneficial one, but it is new territory for many. It’s something that we need to find a way to manage, in a way that we simultaneously allow it to flow through us, yet not swing us about wildly like cars being flung about in a tornado.  Depending on your available time and surroundings, it is helpful to take some deep breaths in and out, go for a walk, lie outside on the grass, get out in nature, do some physical exercise or listen to some fantastic music. Everyone will have their own favourite things to do: the things you know work best for you. It doesn’t really matter what you do, what matters is that you have a handful of (or even one) positive activities you know really work to get you centred no matter what else is going on around you.
With so many governments around the world right now in some sort of disarray, it is easy to lose hope that things are changing for the better. However, this ‘disarray’ was always going to happen. The chaos, the collapse, the demands for change from millions of people, the resistance: it is all part of our overall transformation as a world.  This is not a time of ‘business as usual’. It is time of awakening. It is a time of voices being heard and hearts being expressed. It is a time where everything not in alignment with our true potential is being challenged, questioned, collapsed or transformed. It is a time where any of our old, outdated ways are also stubbornly holding on to what is familiar. That holding on is becoming increasingly painful – whether we are personally participating in it, or witnessing it.
Right now, if you are feeling tension – and it may be your own or stuff you have picked up from others – just shake your hands and arms. Yes, just do it right now before you read one more word. Shake it out.  If you are able to do so depending on where you’re reading this, stand up and shake your legs, and your whole body. Run your hands down each arm, down your torso and back, and down your legs, and feel yourself clearing your energy of any ‘excess’ that doesn’t belong to you. Ask that it goes to the Energy Recycling area where it can be used in a good way. These days we can literally feel ourselves being receivers for huge amounts of electric energy and while there are many positives to being human ‘lights’, it is also necessary to know how to ground or release excess energy that you can’t embody – or don’t need to embody - otherwise you will feel yourself short-circuiting ie emotional meltdown!!
Hope you’re all finding a way to, at the minimum, breathe!

October 1: The CME Release Continues

Yesterday's Solar Eruption (CME) has released an incredible amount of energy on every level. Emotions, passions, desires, and needs are all on High as are stubborness and the ego's old need to control.

Hearts are racing and adrenalin is pumping - literally. Studies have shown that solar activity affects our physical body and chemistry. I found it so hard to get any sleep, it felt like an electric stream was running all night.

This energy usually runs through us triggering anything that needs to be let go of, and awakening anything that is ready to be expressed, so we often find ourselves having a release or epiphany of some kind around heightened solar activity. Sometimes the energy is released in a challenging way (an outburst with someone, or a physical health issue that blows up) or it wants to be released in a more easeful way - you may be feeling a natural urge to do some physical exercise, do something creative, or are inspired to some other healthy outlet of self expression.

On a collective level, things are coming to a head in the US with a possible government shutdown, and our thoughts are with everyone who will be affected by that if it happens. Here at home hot winds were howling all day, aeroplanes were wobbling on descent, roofs have blown off houses and locally there was a horrific vehicle accident involving a petrol tanker on a road we use everyday. Our prayers are with all those involved in that in any way.

Intensity can be overwhelming, but it also brings everything into very clear, sharp focus: What is important to you? Where do you stand on issues? Difficult events and heightened emotions put everything in perspective and we become hyperaware where our priorities lie.

How are you all today?
