It's all going pear-shaped - right on schedule

Right now there feels to be a major heightening of anything within people, particularly those in the mainstream, that has not been owned, that has been suppressed or not dealt with in a healthy way. For those of you reading this, you have likely been working on your ‘stuff’ for years, decades even. You’ve cleansed, cleared, shifted, healed and released till the cows come home. You may even be at the stage now where you are realising you want to focus less on constantly having to ‘shift’ and more on just getting on with living as a conscious, awake human soul.

So here we are, in that state after years of inner work, looking around and thinking cool, let’s get this new reality happening! And in your personal world, you may well already be living in a ‘new reality’ way.  As we turn around to look at the world around us, on some level we half expect to see that everyone is shifting right along with us. Only what are we seeing instead?? A lot of cray cray.

People having meltdowns and feeling lost without knowing why. Politics looking like a reality show comedic circus. Terrorist attacks and false flag operations being rolled out on a non-stop conveyor belt. Hypnotic obsessions with reality stars, distracting everyone from realising we are all stars. Not the Hollywood type.

You might look around and think wow, we are in a great big mess, this is all going really pear-shaped! And yes it is a great big mess, and it is really pear-shaped – and it is right on schedule.

We knew these times were coming where everything not in alignment with our higher consciousness would come up for transformation or release. Some people had an idea that collectively shifting vibration would result in a bliss-filled world changed with a flash of light, but the reality is that any process of transformation includes a skin-shedding phase, a demolition phase. Change is messy. Change is challenging.

Before any process of transformation, be it personal, or a building, or a society or a world, we have crisis points and usually some chaos. You can’t take out your old carpet, and put in your new carpet, without sweeping out all the crap that you find underneath. The renovation crew have come in and stripped all of us of our old carpets. So the crap, on a personal and collective level, is highly visible right now.

For some of us this happened a while ago, and so we’ve been through the sweeping and cleaning stage. We’ve installed our fluffy new rugs, or maybe we prefer shiny wooden floorboards. But for other people it is a really new process. They feel emotionally vulnerable, naked, raw, exposed. They feel fear and uncertainty.  For born truth-seekers, we love shedding the old and moving into the new. And even then it can be an overwhelming process! For lots of other people though, truth and authenticity are scary things.

When you have spent a lifetime conforming, believing in external sources of authority and relying on them to tell you what to do and how to be, it can be very overwhelming for your Soul to suddenly want to start having a say. When you have spent a lifetime repressing your Soul, your true feelings, needs, memories and instincts, it can feel very disconcerting to be feeling desperately unhappy, angry or confused without knowing why. When you have spent a lifetime controlling others, it can bring up a lot of rage or desperation when others no longer allow you to do that.

For all of us, we are being called to loosen our grip on false beliefs and old stories that are not true, to let go wherever we have been too rigid or judgemental, resulting in what feels like constant identity metamorphoses.

This process, this next step of our collective evolutionary growth, is happening to everyone, regardless of their level of awakening or consciousness. Everyone is at a different stage, and everyone responds to it in their own way. Regardless, it is happening.

It is really important right now to live from your own core and centre every day, and to consciously take a moment to feel yourself getting back to centre any time you feel out of it. For anyone energetically and emotionally sensitive, it is easy to feel other people’s stuff, to absorb it and take it on board, and think it is your own. You have a shower every day for your body. Make sure you do the same for your energy, as a way of staying in alignment with your centre. Do what works for you.

One of the simplest things is to close your eyes and breathe deeply in and out, even just a few times. Feel yourself breathing out all that is not yours, and breathing in your own self, connected to your own highest Source of truth, connected to your own Soul. Do this anytime you feel to. You might like to start and end each day doing something like this. Do it before having important conversations. Do it before and after social outings or events if they make you feel anxious or you know you have a tendency to pick up on other people’s energies.

Hang in there. As the saying goes, it’s all okay in the end. And if it’s not okay, it’s not the end.

Shaken not stirred: Coming out of the Eclipses

SHAKEN NOT STIRRED: Even though the recent Solar and Lunar Eclipses were only 2 days in the calendar, we are still within the effect period.

Eclipses can have a direct impact on your life in the 2 weeks - and in some cases 1 month - prior to occurring, and after occurrence. It's kind of like when a wave comes rushing in from the ocean. Yes there is the moment of crashing onto the shore, but just as relevant is the lead up as the wave builds, and then the gravitational pull as the tide captures everything in its way and draws it into the ocean.

So over the last month you may have had some big things happen, be they external changes or inner shifts, or breakdowns or breakthroughs. A lot of people are going through major identity crises/transformations, and feeling a need to overhaul their life in some way.

Now, generally speaking, this is a natural result of the overall evolutionary process we are in right now. Old ways of being are dismantling, and new parts of ourselves are emerging, just like a snake shedding its skin and wriggling out as a new version of itself. But then astrological alignments come along, like an eclipse season, and essentially speed things up, clarifying and crystallizing things, making you highly aware that situation xyz can't go on any longer, or that dream abc needs to get moving forward.

Confusion can also reign, because as one thing, relationship, job or part of your identity is being washed out, the new thing/relationship/job/identity doesn't usually arrive the next day! So lots of us are going through void periods where there is a sense of who the hell am I anymore, and where am I going, and what do I want to be doing, and do I even resonate with this thing or that thing anymore?

During void times, it is usually wise not to make any sudden decisions. Void times are a time to reflect, rest, take a step back, do things to help you get clear and centred (meditation, journalling, going for a walk, going to the beach, get off the topic and go do something fun), and from that space allow your next steps to come to you.

The New Moon in Aries next Thursday marks a new period, so if you are still feeling like you are in the eclipse's washing machine spin and rinse process, things should feel lighter or clearer from then.

How are you all feeling?

Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra

Today we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Libra. Libra is about balance and harmony, so if you have any major emotional events, interactions or epiphanies today, know that it is about bringing yourself, your energy, your inner or outer world into a greater place of balance in some way.

Now, Mercury in Aries and the Sun in Aries are opposite the Full Moon today, and Aries is all about the Self, where Libra is all about the Other. Aries likes to make sure
me, myself and I are taken care of, while Libra's focus is on you, we, us and relationship.

We all have a tendency to lean more toward either an Aries or Libran approach to life, and so it is important for things to come along now and again to give us a nudge in the other direction. If you are overly focused on others, a bit of Aries Self/Me influence can be just what the doctor ordered. If your life is too self-involved, expanding your focus to those around you is the medicine you might need.

With Mercury being in Aries opposite the Full Moon Eclipse, communication could be the catalyst. You may find yourself standing up for yourself or your needs, putting your foot down, or realising how often you put the needs of others ahead of your own. You might find a relationship unexpectedly eclipse out of your life around now. If so, it is because one or both of you needed a new direction in order to experience the balance the Soul is seeking.

Some people might get a realisation today that they need to look after themselves with greater independence, more assertiveness or stronger boundaries, while others may realise that they have been neglecting others in the pursuit of self-interests.

How are you feeling today? Any Eclipse happenings in your life?

New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces

The Wednesday Wisdom Seeds are taking a break this week as we talk about today's New Moon Solar Eclipse in Pisces!

Solar Eclipses come along to trigger and accelerate "destined" events. Okay, yes, we create our own reality through our daily choices, actions, thoughts and vibe, but our Soul came into this life with an overall plan, with specific and general goals to experience, achieve and accomplish.

We have a good amount of free reign regarding how we go about doing what we set out to do, but from time to time astrological alignments pop up to give us a little boost in the right direction. Life events are unexpectedly accelerated or broken apart, life paths are altered or adjusted.

It's like your Soul in partnership with the Universe says okay, your drive to Wyoming has been really lovely but you really want to be in New York right now so let's get you there via the quickest route.

The quickest route can be mind-blowingly amazing, and it can be devestating and heart-breaking. It will always be a significant life turning point, with a sense of "destiny" about it.

That is, whatever happens around an Eclipse is by divine design.

This knowing can help us pass more easefully through the more difficult eclipses, and give us the courage and confidence we need to keep up with any exciting and happy life changes.

The degree to which you experience the effects of today's Eclipse depends on where 18 degrees Pisces is in your natal chart and whether there is an important point or planet there being highlighted.

Solar Eclipses have a timeline of 3, 6 and 9 months so if you have something significant occur this week, you may like to circle the 9th of June, Sep and Dec as weeks when important related happenings might occur.

How has this Eclipse been for you so far?

Royal Commission: Truth and Healing

Thinking of the survivors and their families who have been in the courtroom this week, and watching overseas, while the Australian Royal Commission on Institutional Responses to child sexual abuse within the Catholic Church cross-examines George Pell in Rome.

Pell's responses clearly show what those responses were, and still are from those adamant to stay in a dense, old energy way of being. We are living in times when truth is coming out from under the carpet, shedding light on what was, correcting a mythical history to one that is more accurate even if uglier.

Lives that have been hurt, ruined or ended by that ugliness, can be vindicated, validated, acknowledged and stood up for, if not by the perpetrators then by a global community who stand beside the innocents. This doesn't fix a lifetime of the effects of abuse, it can't change what happened, but it can hopefully contribute to the creation of more healing services, offer some soothing and support, and assist in changing what has gone on for too long so that future generations of children are safe.

Some wounds can't be healed, but it is healing to have a society see those wounds without turning our heads, without saying 'don't be silly, that couldn't of happened', and instead saying "we see these wounds, we will look at them with our eyes open, we will hear the painful details, and we will do everything possible to make sure this doesn't happen again."

Society owes a lot to the brave souls who expose truth, on this topic and all others. So much of the old world system has been set up to make truth-tellers sound crazy, and it is a good, good time to be alive when a new system comes aboard, and when society awakens and not only accepts but demands the truth come out.

To everyone involved with bringing truth to light at the ‪#‎CARoyalComm‬, thank you for what you are doing. I stand with you.

Wednesday Wisdom Seeds #4: Cave time is good for your soul

Video Version

Last week we talked about hiding from other people or from the world in general. This week we are going to look at it from another angle. Today’s Wednesday Wisdom Seeds is about the Restorative Cave, the healthy need to retreat, and give ourselves permission to take a step back, or to take time out.

In our society there is a lot of focus on action, on achieving and on doing.  Those qualities are great, but when we don’t balance them out with rest, with reflection on where we are going and why, or take time to touch base with how we’re feeling and whether or not we’re being true to ourselves, we end up feeling burned out, drained or heading toward a destination that we don’t actually like.

We are bombarded by stimulation all the time now, which has gone into crazy over-drive thanks to social media. We are getting constant messages that we should be doing more, making more, earning more, having more, giving more, posting more.  These messages can make you feel that unless you are going at full speed all the time, and are constantly plugged in, and have every area of life perfectly sorted, then you are not doing enough and are somehow failing or missing out on something.

Saying no to other people, or to the world in general, can make you feel like you are letting others down, or losing an opportunity, but sometimes it is the healthiest thing you can do for yourself.

When you say no to something that feels too much right now, or something that just doesn’t feel right, you are actually saying YES to yourself.

Cave time means different things to different people.  It could be a daily habit of 10 minutes meditation, or switching off your phone and computer by 9.30 at night and reading a book before bed or taking some time to journal. Sometimes you can be in the cave for months during major life changes where you have just ended a relationship, or are changing careers or are needing to attend to a health situation.  These sorts of life events can trigger major identity transformations, and cave time is needed to process whatever has ended, and provide a safe space to basically be in retreat until you are ready for the new, or even as you slowly build the new.

Over the last year I’ve had a lot of cave time as I shifted gears in lots of ways. I let go of my one on one sessions as my whole body told me it was time. I’ve been very focused on what feels the most nourishing to me be it wholefoods, earlier bed times, or switching off from social media for days at a time. My health and our journey of trying to conceive our second baby has been a greater priority than making sure I did 3.8 posts a day.

Pockets of daily cave time and extended periods of ‘going slower than usual’ or ‘doing less than usual’ time mean you need to be okay with giving yourself that time, without feeling bad or guilty.

Cave time nourishes you, it refuels you, it helps you re-balance, find peace and recover your energy. This is especially true for those of you who are sensitive to external energies, and find yourself picking up stuff from other people.

So I want to hear from you:

What are some of the healthy things you do to retreat, take time out and say no to the world while you say yes to yourself?

Are you craving some cave time?

Do any of you find it hard to switch off and allow cave time?

Wednesday Wisdom Seeds #3: Are you hiding from what you want?

Today’s topic is about Hiding Yourself from what you really want.  A comment came through where a guy, let’s call him Matt, wrote that Fear has stopped him from allowing other people to get too close. He wrote that he can see how he even chose to live in a geographical location that has made it easy for him to keep his distance from others.

We are all good at hiding in some way. We become experts at hiding who we really are when it comes to certain situations or areas of our life, and most often we do this subconsciously. We create patterns of behaviour or habits that we often don’t realise we keep doing, or we do but we think we can’t control the pattern because it often looks like something that keeps happening ‘to us’.

For some of you this might happen in love relationships preventing true emotional intimacy or commitment, for others it happens in friendships or around family. It can happen with our professional life, our business and our creativity, interfering with our success and prosperity.

No matter the area of our life being affected, or the particular pattern we have set up to keep what we truly desire at arm’s length, there is always a common factor at play:

And that is:

Fear that is directly related to a core wound, and this fear has created a big story about something. It might based on a past memory, experience, observation, ancestral history or a bunch of other possible roots. While it can be useful to explore some of those roots, we can lose a lifetime if we spend our lives trying to dig them all up before we allow ourselves to be free of the fear.

The big story of your fear says: If you do this, then that will happen.

That person will eventually leave you, or hurt you. You will lose yourself. You will get criticised or rejected. People will laugh at you. No-one wants to hear what you have to say.

It is no wonder we find ways to stay hidden in our caves. It seems a lot easier. Until it isn’t. One day, our hidey spot comfort zone starts feeling really uncomfortable.

It takes courage to encourage ourselves out of our hidey spot comfort zones.

The irony always is that once we're out of our caves we think oh wow how good is this! Our fear makes us think that emerging is like stepping out into the biggest, darkest, most scary place. But in reality, emergence into more of our selves is more like stepping out into a big grassy field with lots of sunshine. I’m not going to lie. Grey Clouds do float by out here sometimes. There are ouchy things that you may sometimes step on. But to experience the wonderful new space the other 99% of the time is worth it.

Your fear just wants to protect you. But the difference between the fear and the reality is like the projection from the Wizard of Oz. The fear appears large and overwhelming, but in reality it is something you can deal with if and when you actually meet it face to face out in your sunny field.

What part of you is hiding in a cave?

What are your Fears about emerging?

Ask your Future Self to give you the courage to encourage you to come out from hiding.

Ask your Future Self to be your teammate, helper and guide.

See your Future Self extend his or her hand out to you and draw you toward them in the best possible way, helping you to emerge into the new space that you so rightfully deserve to be in now, and are so very ready for.

Solar Flares, Wifi and Bees

Over the last 5 days the Sun has released a very strong solar flare every day bar yesterday. Everyone will experience this differently. You might feel energised by it, with lots of adrenaline pumping for no obvious reason. You might feel increased anxiety, irritability or like you've had too much coffee.

We feel flares like there is electricity in the air, so we can find it hard to get to sleep or stay asleep. Something that I always intend to do, and forget, but really I need to remember, is to turn off the wifi at night. This is a good general rule for every night of the week, giving our bodies a bit of a break, and it helps out the animals and anything living around us that is so affected by it, especially bees!

Maybe one household doing it isn't going to make a huge difference, but imagine if lots of us got in this habit, or it was an overall social norm to turn wifi off at night. I wonder what positive affect it would have on our personal energy which is wifi'd to the max these days, not to mention all living things.

It's also a good idea to turn our phones off at night which similarly have an effect on human, animal, bee, plant and all living energy. We use them as our alarms but as I write this I know we need to change that habit. I love my gentle harp music waking me so definitely don't want a beep beep beep alarm! What do you all use?

Wednesday Wisdom Seeds #2: Moving beyond Doubt

Today's topic is doubt. It’s that little voice in your head, or feeling in your tummy, saying, I don’t really want to do this, or go there. It also might say I can’t do this, or I’ll never get there!

How do you know when doubt is your own wise instinct speaking to you, or your fear making you feel not good enough?

When you feel doubt, for whatever reason, it is an orange traffic light moment.  The doubt is saying slow down, pause, take a moment.  Taking a few seconds to listen to your doubt is important because this is where you will get clear.  Is the orange light naturally moving into red, wanting you to stop, or say no to something? Or is the orange light temporarily flashing, while it encourages and helps you to move on to the green go light? Maybe it wants to tell you there are a few physical action steps you need to take first before proceeding. Maybe it wants you to clear some emotional beliefs before going further. So, a red light that turns to a green arrow.

Trying to make a decision without respecting the orange light usually results in either surging forward feeling anxious and unsure, which is not the best foundation on which to do anything, or has us sitting on idle, feeling stuck, unable to move forward but not really at peace with staying where we are. We feel frustrated, meanwhile are potentially missing new signs like a green arrow saying, turn left here! Or we choose the red light, but end up feeling guilty.

Getting some clarity with your red or green light, before choosing either, helps you move through those lights with more peace. The green may still have its challenges taking you out of your comfort zone, the red may still make you feel a bit sad that that you couldn’t say yes to something or someone, but the mental angst and anxiety is reduced.

If you feel doubt about something, whether it’s something you’ve been invited to, an errand that needs doing, or a big dream that keeps tapping you on the shoulder, sit in silence for a few minutes with your orange light. Feel into the part of you that wants to go forward or have a certain reality manifest, that knows it is possible. Feel into the part of you that isn’t ready or doesn’t want to or thinks it can’t happen. Allow each part to speak to you. Feel how your body feels with each response.

Out of your red and green light messengers, one group will feel more true than the other, for this moment. If the red light is more true, allow it to be, knowing it will open up to a green arrow indicating a different direction, or maybe a detour taking you to your destination a different way.

I will be recording a meditation and putting it on the site soon if you want some guided help with this.

Wednesday Wisdom Seeds #1: Sending Light

We often hear people ask, well if the planet has more light than ever right now, and if this light is supposedly increasing, why all the craziness? Light amplifies everything. Light shines a torch on everything inside us and outside us. So we can see our sabotaging beliefs more clearly, and we can feel our potential in a greater way. We see the crap and corruption going on around the world with more transparency, and we are more aware of alternatives and solutions.

So this brings up a question. If Light amplifies everything, then what is the best thing to do when thinking of a crisis area or a location that is about to be affected by a storm? A lot of people say 'send light' but if light amplifies then sending 'light' can potentially increase the chaos. Sending light to someone with some major issues, without also sending in a therapist, could heighten their unresolved anger without providing a healthy outlet for the expression of that anger.

This brings up another question - is then light different to consciousness and awareness? Can a person be exposed to 'light', which is energy of a certain vibration, but their level of consciousness determines how that light is received by them, physically and emotionally?

So on this topic of energy regarding people and situations, is sending love then a better option? Or sending a general prayer for best possible outcome? Or do you prefer to just mind your own energy as it were, and know that simply doing that will affect the whole in the best possible way?

What are your thoughts on all this?
