Thank you to all who helped over the last few weeks with prayers and donations for They Came and Blessed his Pipe Man, Sherwyn. Here is a letter of thanks from Sherwyn, detailing his recovery and the shift this triggered with the IHS (Indian Health Services)

First, I want to say Pidamayedo, Nina Wopida Tanka (Thank you, I have great appreciation) to all of you who made prayers and offerings for my recovery. Your prayers have been accepted and they have been felt by me in all the aspects of my nature.
If I were to use percentages to describe my health right now, I'd say that I'm about 98% recovered. I have returned from the hospital in Minneapolis, MN on Saturday night from the ERCP procedure that went really well. Considering that the doctors couldn't find one of the stents. The one that they did find was removed without any problem and there were no leaks in my bile duct walls or intestine. I know that the one stent that wasn't found was removed by the Spirit through Prayer. This I felt inside of my body as they came and did their healing work on me. When I would feel this, I would lay back, pray and say, "I accept the Prayer and Healing Love & Light. Your Prayers are powerful. I am now well and whole again, ready & able to return to the Sun Dance Altar.
I did feel like someone beat the crap out of me on Saturday though. My body was so achy that I couldn't laugh, sneeze, cough, swallow or eat very well. Sunday was better. I just kept moving around the yard, working to prepare for my special day on October 10th. My body totally enjoyed the freedom to be well and able to move without restrictions. So, I built a willow shelter in my yard 48 feet long by 15 feet wide. My Wakankiciyuzapi Oicie will be beautiful.
I'm honored to be part of a Spiritual Unfoldment for so many in the world. This whole experience wasn't just about me and my health. It was about all of you and how you came together in a single focus to make a beautiful thing happen for yourselves, one another, Mother Earth, Grandmother Universe and Creator by utilizing the Power of Love. That was the lesson.
The IHS on the other hand is now undergoing an investigation. That too was part of the lesson. We shed so much light on a problem that affected so many other people across Indian Country. The negligence and mistreatment and bad patient care is rampant in most Indian Health Services hospitals and clinics. Due to the IHS decision to not fund my surgical procedure, I was forced to look for alternative ways to complete my healing process. This created a focus on the IHS that was ignored and by-passed for too long. I had to contact my State Senators and Representatives to put pressure on the IHS, which in turn created an official investigation of the IHS. We pray that this will make a significant improvement to Indian Country in the United States.
Just this morning, on the local news one of the Top Stories is a meeting taking place in Sioux Falls,SD regarding the official investigation of the IHS. The newspapers all have stories about incidents occurring in the IHS clinics and hospitals. So, things are moving and things will get better. There is a national focus on the IHS to make changes to improve patient care. Thank you all for your help in that area. It is greatly appreciated.

Our good friend Sherwyn Zephier, They-Came-And-Blessed-His-Pipe-Man (Ta Canupa Yuwakanpi Wicasa), Yankton Sioux Sundance Chief (Ihunktowan Oyate) is in urgent need of an important surgery. He was scheduled to have it a couple of weeks ago, when the IHS (Indian Health Services) informed him that they had run out of money, and that he would have to pay for the procedure himself! The cost is $15, 000 USD.
Sherwyn is an incredible, humble and extremely positive, very high vibration man. Christian and I spent a lot of time with him and his brother Chief Golden Light Eagle on our recent trip to the US. They put all their heart and soul into creating the Star Knowledge Conferences, teaching and speaking all over Turtle Island (the U.S) to help awaken our brothers and sisters. September 2010 Monthly Visions: Life is but a Dream – and You are the Architect!
"What if you slept? And what if, in your sleep, you went to heaven and there plucked a strange and beautiful flower? And what if when you awoke, you had the flower in your hand? Ah, what then?” – Samuel Taylor Coleridge
I saw the movie Inception last week. I loved it because it so fantastically reminded me of the increasingly blurry lines between our current reality and dream reality. In the movie Leonardo di Caprio plays the role of a ‘dream architect’ whose job it is to ‘insert’ an idea into a person’s subconscious, with the goal being the person is influenced to do something in his waking life that he otherwise wouldn’t have. The ‘dream architect’ can insert - or steal - ideas by creating and entering a shared dreamspace. The ‘dream’ feels so real, that all the people working on the job carry with them a small totem that will tell them whether they are in a dream reality or in their usual reality. For example di Caprio has a spinning top that spins without toppling over if he is in a dreamworld.
While watching the movie, I thought of something my guides tell me all the time ‘reality is whatever you think it is.’ On its simplest level this means that your perception determines whether you think an experience is great or hard or transformative or abundant or lacking. We all have numerous layers of mental and emotional energy influencing our perception, and that’s why no two people are ever truly living in the same reality even if they are sharing an experience. On a more physically tangible level it means exactly what it says; reality is whatever you think it is. Your life today is exactly a snapshot of what you at one point thought, felt and believed. Your health, bank account, home, relationships and work are direct physical representations showing you really clearly the focus and flavour of your dominating thoughts, feelings and beliefs. The exciting thing is, we are all now waking up to the realisation that we are creating as we go! We are consciously creating as opposed to subconsciously creating.
What does this mean? It means that the state of your health or bank account today doesn’t have anything to do with how those things are going to look tomorrow – unless you want them to. They are simply a result of what you were predominantly focusing on whilst in your ‘dream architect’ chair in the days, months and years up until now. You are living your own personal movie. You are living, and creating, your own personal dream. The only reason we repeat scenes is because no-one taught us that we don’t have to! No-one taught us that we are the writers of our own script, we are the architects of our own dream, and we can design our reality in the way that we want.
We have been taught that our vibrational energy reality is our dream world, and our physical reality is our real world, when quite the opposite seems to be true. Our vibrational energy reality is more our real world, as that is where our true power to create lies. That is where our tools of thought, belief and feeling lie. That is where our sabotaging issues and old patterns lie. If we want to change anything in our life, we have to go into our vibrational energy fields because that’s where everything originates! Energy is the play-doh of the universe. You can mould it and tweak it and use it any way you like. It will show up in your life in exactly the way you think it will. Our physical reality is simply a result of our energetic play.
Our higher self predominantly exists in the higher vibrational energy fields, so for anyone reading thinking, well we can’t override our soul’s higher need to experience something we wouldn’t necessarily consciously choose for the purposes of growth, or we shouldn’t be trying to manifest something that isn’t in alignment with our authentic desire, I’m not suggesting that in connecting to our ‘dream architect’ we turn into ego control freaks. I don’t recommend putting our ego in charge of our dream architecture. Ideally, we want to step into our ‘dream architect’ role in alignment with our authentic and higher self. Remembering your ‘dream architect’ role is a gift to be used wisely. It is a positive and exciting sign that millions of people around the world are remembering this gift, because it is a sign I believe that collectively we are entering the maturity level required to consciously and responsibly use it.
Many people are now finding themselves awakening from the illusion that our physical world is the more ‘real’ world or the only world, and rubbing sleep from their eyes to see that there is another, greater world available to them. This can actually feel quite confusing, shocking and even disorientating at first. It reminds me of Jim Carrey’s character in The Truman Show, finding out that his whole life has been one big reality show, and after years of thinking life had to be one way, finding out that life is running on a whole other ballgame of rules now.
Even those of us who have felt pretty awake for a long time can find it hard to let go of the mind’s grip on the old reality, on the ego’s insistence that ‘Some things just have to be hard’ or ‘It takes money to live and I can’t make money doing what I love’. As Henry Ford said, “Whether you think you can, or you think you can’t, you will always be right.” Watch your thoughts now more than ever. Do you ever think ‘that’s just the way it has to be’ or is there anything you think would be impossible to achieve? Do you have a dream or goal that you keep repressing because you just can’t imagine how it could happen? What if you started imagining it happening? What if you decided to play with this idea of being your own ‘dream architect’? What would your dream look like? What would you dream into being? If you could create your dreamscape, your world, with no limits, what would it look like?

Our biggest obstacle is our own mind’s lack of belief in the reality and validity of the ‘dream’ world and our ego’s lack of belief in anything that it can’t see, hear, touch, taste or smell with its five senses. The ‘dream world’ exists on a higher vibration, and so of course the mind can’t logically understand it nor can the ego perceive it! It’s like someone with access to only 5 public television stations refusing rigidly to accept that there are literally thousands of other shows available out there to the many people hooked up to satellite!
Sometimes it isn’t our refusal to believe that stops us from fully opening to our dream reality, it’s a lack of a frame of reference – we simply have never had this great new experience before. I’ve been seeing a lot of clients lately who’ve made the quantum leap from being in unhappy marriages to meeting their soulmate, from existing in unfulfilling jobs to suddenly find themselves retrenched and free to finally do what they’ve always wanted to do. Others are receiving unexpected travel invitations or financial gifts. It’s as if someone is tearing down the veils and gleefully shouting “Welcome to Fairy-tale Land where all your dreams come true! Come in, come in, there’s so much to see and even more to do!” What do most of us do when this happens? We nervously hang out by the curtain, only daring to take a little peek at this mysterious up-until-now elusive Fairy-tale Land. I mean, meeting soulmates and doing what you love for a living only happens in fairytales, and fairytales aren’t real are they? Well guess what? They are meant to be real!
Our fairytale life was always meant to be our real life. Many of us are awakening to that life now, but we have struggled for so long in the old dream, that we came to believe the old dream was our reality and are finding it hard to let go! On top of that, others try to convince you that you are dreaming for believing in Fairytale Land and ask you to wake up and get real and get back into the real world, which is actually the old dream world that you came here to wake up from!!!
I’m passionate about using our awakening not just for our personal lives, but seeing our personal awakening as an integral part of a bigger picture: the awakening of a new, more empowered humanity and Earth. So, I don’t want to insensitively insinuate that in our new world there are no problems and everything is perfect and that somehow we have no more people living in poverty or poor health or that we have no responsibility to those still living that reality. (Although I’m pretty sure that in time our future will look more and more balanced and wonderful for more and more people). Rather, our newly constructed world is a place and space from which we can use our consciousness more, well, consciously! We can use it to move through our problems, be they personal or international, in a more harmonious way. We can use it to help our brothers and sisters in a more practical, useful way. We can use it to interact with our Earth in a more considerate way. Again, there is a big difference between being a dream architect from your ego self, or a dream architect from your authentic and higher self.
So step into your Dream Architect self and start constructing! Your tools are your thoughts, beliefs and feelings. Your power cord is your connection to Source Energy which very handily also provides you with a trusty GPS that appears as your intuition and synchronicity. Your tools, power cord and GPS will naturally lead you to the actions and opportunities that will help your dreamscape materialise in the physical. Construct with the attitude that nothing is impossible and everything is possible. It happens in your dreams all the time ‘I was sitting on a horse and it turned into a car and then suddenly I was in Paris’. So, if it can happen in your dreams, it can happen in your physical life, because on some level of consciousness it happened!!
When our mind and ego thinks we’re just playing or imagining or dreaming, the defences go down. So, get out your journal and have a play with this: “If life was a dream ........” Include information about every area of your life, and even extend it to information about how you see your ideal greater world. Particularly include things that make you feel happy, because it’s the ‘feeling happy’ tool that is one of the most powerful in your construction kit. Have fun!!

A Return to Natural Time
I wrote this article in 2004, but as we drew near to 2012 and celebrate the Feminine and the Natural Cycles today on this special Friday the 13th I thought it timely to re-post!
ONCE UPON A TIME most people lived in harmony with the cycles of nature. They were in tune with the flows of the earth and the cosmos, and walked in step with this natural rhythm.
They looked up at the stars and used the sky as a map, knowing that we are one part of a universal family who share a spiritual home. They understood the connection and influence between each part of this family and worked in synergy with the movements of the sun, the moon and the planets.
They were in touch with the earth and treated her with a sacred reverence. They saw her as the great mother who guides us and provides for us, and knew that in her we share a physical home. They followed the turn of the seasons and honoured the elements that sustain us.
The people lived in alignment with the natural order of things, and thus maintained balance. Energy flowed freely between their inner and outer worlds, and in between the earth and the cosmos. The way was clear for smooth synchronicity and telepathy between people and pathways.
Their connection to the spiritual allowed them to use the physical with wisdom, respect and appreciation. Their connection to the physical allowed them to use the spiritual in a tangible way, moulding and manifesting dreams into reality.
The power and potential of the people was strong and, knowingly or not, they were gradually moving towards creating heaven on earth. Not all of the people used their power for the highest good. Some desired only to gain more and more power for themselves by taking it from others.
Julius Ceasar was an ambitious man and he knew that one way to take the power from the people was to disconnect them from their source of power. He saw their intense connection to the natural cycles and sought to end it. Around 46BC he imposed his Julian Calendar on people who were previously working with a 13-moon, 28-day calendar system. This natural calendar was based on the cycles of the moon, and was also in sync with the menstrual cycles of women.
The Julian Calendar was a calendar of conquest, more based on manipulative power and ego than on any sense of natural flow. Months are sliced into 30 or 31 days, except February with its 28, taking people out of sync with the lunar cycles. Essentially, Ceasar immersed people into a false sense of time for his own motives. An error of calculation meant that it ran too fast, giving us almost six extra hours a year left over. An updated version was established by Pope Gregory of Rome in 1582, commonly used as today’s Gregorian Calendar. He introduced an extra day every four years in an attempt to eliminate the error.
Not all people followed this unnatural calendar, and many indigenous and tribal cultures, keepers of knowledge and wise people remained connected to the natural cycles. However, slowly over time many people did adopt it and by the early 1900s it was accepted as the world standard.
This disconnection to cosmic and natural cycles has influenced us tremendously. We have learned to look to governments, media, and other aspects of society for leadership. We have been taught to disregard the connections we have to the earth and the cosmos, and to dismiss and distrust the voice of knowing inside us. We were told to deny a path that was strongly tied to the cyclic, nurturing and creation-oriented feminine energy, setting a pattern of dishonouring feminine energy ever since.
It is time now to lead ourselves and our planet back into a state of balance and harmony. By reconnecting to the natural cycles we can awaken to our full, true power. Attuning ourselves to the flow and order of the universe realigns us with our natural power and destiny. As we re-enter the natural flow we open our cells of receptivity. Our intuition is heightened. Our innate sense of knowing is stimulated so that we may remember who we really are and why we are here.
The Mayans were masters of time and of cosmic and natural cycles. They created a calendar that has been described as the most accurate of any culture. The Mayan Calendar was based on their knowing that we are part of a galactic community. It was calculated using the cycles of the Pleiades star system, which they believed was the home of their ancestors. The Mayan Calendar continues to this day to be a powerful tool for all those who wish to align with these cycles.
December 21, 2012 marks the end of a 104,000 year cycle in the Mayan Calendar, and what lies beyond that date has been the subject of much speculation. The Mayan prophecies speak of the end of time. The Mayan elders feel this ancient wisdom has been greatly misunderstood by modern western society. Contrary to what the doomsdayers are predicting the Mayans say it is only the end of time as we know it.
The Mayans foresee not our demise here on earth, only the collapse of all structures that are not in alignment with natural flow, including the collapse of man-made time. They foresee our transformation and rebirth as we return to a more natural state of being. As we rapidly approach a brand new cycle we are being asked to remember our connectedness with our natural sources of wisdom. We are being called to align ourselves with the cosmic rhythms of the universe and the heartbeat of mother earth.

ONCE UPON A TIME most people lived in harmony with the cycles of nature. They were in tune with the flows of the earth and the cosmos, and walked in step with this natural rhythm.
They looked up at the stars and used the sky as a map, knowing that we are one part of a universal family who share a spiritual home. They understood the connection and influence between each part of this family and worked in synergy with the movements of the sun, the moon and the planets.
They were in touch with the earth and treated her with a sacred reverence. They saw her as the great mother who guides us and provides for us, and knew that in her we share a physical home. They followed the turn of the seasons and honoured the elements that sustain us.
The people lived in alignment with the natural order of things, and thus maintained balance. Energy flowed freely between their inner and outer worlds, and in between the earth and the cosmos. The way was clear for smooth synchronicity and telepathy between people and pathways.
Their connection to the spiritual allowed them to use the physical with wisdom, respect and appreciation. Their connection to the physical allowed them to use the spiritual in a tangible way, moulding and manifesting dreams into reality.
The power and potential of the people was strong and, knowingly or not, they were gradually moving towards creating heaven on earth. Not all of the people used their power for the highest good. Some desired only to gain more and more power for themselves by taking it from others.
Julius Ceasar was an ambitious man and he knew that one way to take the power from the people was to disconnect them from their source of power. He saw their intense connection to the natural cycles and sought to end it. Around 46BC he imposed his Julian Calendar on people who were previously working with a 13-moon, 28-day calendar system. This natural calendar was based on the cycles of the moon, and was also in sync with the menstrual cycles of women.
The Julian Calendar was a calendar of conquest, more based on manipulative power and ego than on any sense of natural flow. Months are sliced into 30 or 31 days, except February with its 28, taking people out of sync with the lunar cycles. Essentially, Ceasar immersed people into a false sense of time for his own motives. An error of calculation meant that it ran too fast, giving us almost six extra hours a year left over. An updated version was established by Pope Gregory of Rome in 1582, commonly used as today’s Gregorian Calendar. He introduced an extra day every four years in an attempt to eliminate the error.
Not all people followed this unnatural calendar, and many indigenous and tribal cultures, keepers of knowledge and wise people remained connected to the natural cycles. However, slowly over time many people did adopt it and by the early 1900s it was accepted as the world standard.
This disconnection to cosmic and natural cycles has influenced us tremendously. We have learned to look to governments, media, and other aspects of society for leadership. We have been taught to disregard the connections we have to the earth and the cosmos, and to dismiss and distrust the voice of knowing inside us. We were told to deny a path that was strongly tied to the cyclic, nurturing and creation-oriented feminine energy, setting a pattern of dishonouring feminine energy ever since.
It is time now to lead ourselves and our planet back into a state of balance and harmony. By reconnecting to the natural cycles we can awaken to our full, true power. Attuning ourselves to the flow and order of the universe realigns us with our natural power and destiny. As we re-enter the natural flow we open our cells of receptivity. Our intuition is heightened. Our innate sense of knowing is stimulated so that we may remember who we really are and why we are here.
The Mayans were masters of time and of cosmic and natural cycles. They created a calendar that has been described as the most accurate of any culture. The Mayan Calendar was based on their knowing that we are part of a galactic community. It was calculated using the cycles of the Pleiades star system, which they believed was the home of their ancestors. The Mayan Calendar continues to this day to be a powerful tool for all those who wish to align with these cycles.
December 21, 2012 marks the end of a 104,000 year cycle in the Mayan Calendar, and what lies beyond that date has been the subject of much speculation. The Mayan prophecies speak of the end of time. The Mayan elders feel this ancient wisdom has been greatly misunderstood by modern western society. Contrary to what the doomsdayers are predicting the Mayans say it is only the end of time as we know it.
The Mayans foresee not our demise here on earth, only the collapse of all structures that are not in alignment with natural flow, including the collapse of man-made time. They foresee our transformation and rebirth as we return to a more natural state of being. As we rapidly approach a brand new cycle we are being asked to remember our connectedness with our natural sources of wisdom. We are being called to align ourselves with the cosmic rhythms of the universe and the heartbeat of mother earth.

Friday the 13th: Reclaim the power of the 13!
Today is Friday the 13th, a day that lots of people associate with 'bad luck'. But did you ever stop to think why '13' is known as an unlucky number?
We need to go back to a time when the Divine Feminine was honoured through Earth-based 'Mother Goddess' religions, a time when people followed a natural 13 moon Lunar Calendar, celebrated the changing seasons of the Earth, and followed the movements of the Cosmos. The number 13 was also very important to the Mayans who calculated one of their many calendar cycles from the Birth of Venus on 13 August 3114 BC (ooh spooky, today is 13 August!), with 13 x 144, 000 days taking us to the end of the cycle on 21 December 2012. 22 December 2012 starts a new cycle 13: 00:00, a cycle heralded by many as The Return of the Divine Feminine, when Feminine energy will once again be respected and honoured on this planet.
If you follow the Mayan Calendar, you'll notice a 'year' is made up of 13 x 20 days.
In the old days women would all menstruate in sync with the new moon, entering their sacred time every 28 days, 13 times a year. To this day women who spend a lot of time together find that their menstruation moon cycles start synchronising to match each other. Women, in the native tradition, still today call their sacred time 'moontime'. Women, instead of saying 'I have my period', how would it feel to you to say "I'm on my moon". Say it and see what it does to your cells. Instead of feeling you are experiencing something burdensome, get in touch with the specialness of it. It is the time when your intuition and creativity is heightened. It is a time to go within, to rest, to meditate and seek inner visions and guidance.
Around the time of the Roman conquest, humanity were subjected to the man-made Julian and then Gregorian calendars, which eventually took people out of sync with natural time. At the same time, Earth-based 'pagan' religions were vilified, and people who used natural herbs or healing abilities to help others were labelled 'witches' and burned at the stake. In their pursuit of power, the Roman conquerors had to find a way to make that which threatened their power 'wrong' or 'bad'. Thus the Goddess and the Creator were replaced by an angry, Churchy man-made version of God, healers and psychics were ridiculed or killed, and the number '13' was cast a role of 'unlucky'. The Spanish did the same kind of thing to the Mayans, whose holy books were burned, and holy priests killed.
I read today that "Friday the 13th is traditionally a day when the ancients would take the day off to make love in honour of Freya's Day (the Norse Venus) & the 13 moons of the lunar calendar. It was the Romans who 'demonized' this day to instill duty to the state rather than one's heart.... Be radical on this day: love yourself & those around you to honour this time old tradition."
Today on Friday the 13th, reclaim the power of the 13. Reclaim your connection to the natural cycles, to the cycles of the moon, the cycles of the earth and the cycles of the cosmos. As you reconnect to the natural cycles, you reconnect to your natural energy, to your authentic connection to your higher self and Source Energy. You reconnect to your intuition and innate inner sacred knowledge. Reclaim the power of the 13 today!
NB:
To add to the info about Freya: it is thought by some that Freya's Day was the origin of the word Friday. Freya was the Norse Venus, and a Goddess of Fertility. So, this is why the ancients celebrated when the 13th fell on a Friday - both the number and the day were symbolic of Feminine Energy and it's quite the special event to have them at the same time. By the same token, the repression and suppression of Feminine Energy (including everything from the healing arts to literally women) influenced, so it would seem, the labelling of the ultimate Feminine Day "Friday the 13th" as 'unlucky' in the same way that menstruation somehow became known as 'a curse'.Onward and upward into the Return of the Divine Feminine!

August 2010 Monthly Visions: All Aboard the Gravy Train - unless you really like Gravel?
On August 6-7 we are facing quite the wammy of astrological squares and oppositions with a grand cardinal cross featuring all the major planets. The astrologer Susan Miller wrote that she can't find anything like it within 500 years either side of us. Interestingly enough, on August 1 a few days ago the Sun had a massive Solar Flare (like an eruption) triggering a huge Solar Tsunami hurling itself toward Earth. Essentially this affects our weather and electro-magnetic energy so things like communication devices and navigational equipment go a bit haywire but we are also made up of electro-magnetic energy so we may be feeling like we are going a little haywire this week too!! Either one of these events are HUGE, so for them to happen as if by synchronicity offers a big opportunity for major shifting. This is a week when anything that has been stuck is going to explode with unstuckness in a big way. Pay attention to anything that bursts forth this week, whether it's creativity, anger, an old emotional pattern, frustration or dormant dreams, because it is a sign that something is wanting to birth, something that was stuck doesn't want to be stuck anymore. Anything that has felt imprisoned, passive or repressed will want freedom and expression. It's the week your soul might instigate a mighty rebellion and say enough is enough, take the needle of this record, get out of this particular classroom, and stop dragging me across gravel!!!

The Star Knowledge Conference was a fun and powerful 3 days of passionate, insightful speakers, many Native, Mayan and Hawaiian elders, sharing their messages about these 'era-2012' times. The predominant messages were around Stepping into your Power, and Unity. There is no 'this is going to happen' prophecy detailing how it will all unfold aka a Hollywood movie. Rather, the prophecies are a heads up warning, wisely letting us know that we are now in a 'if you do this, then this will likely happen, and if you continue to do that, then the other will probably happen' time of choosing. We are smack-bang in the middle of the transitional point, choosing with every millisecond which direction we want to go in as a humanity. We choose. We decide. We choose with every thought, belief, prayer, visualisation and action. Don't wait for the media and government to decide to change. We have to lift our vibration from within, and as we do we will naturally create a new reality outside ourselves - because our energy will expect it, and thus demand it, and thus play it's part in making it happen.
Very loud and clear came the message that this is a team effort. You are an important piece of the puzzle. It is time for you to remember who you are, and do what you came here to do (which you automatically do, simply by being your true self).

August 2010 Monthly Visions: All Aboard the Gravy Train - unless you really like Gravel?
I had a client last week who described her recent choice to leave a study course with these brilliant, poetic words: “It felt like I was dragging my soul across gravel.” I thought Wow! That perfectly paints a picture of what it feels like these days to go against the grain of your true self.
One would think that this ‘gravel-dragging’ experience would be enough to snap us out of any against the grain tendencies quick smart. This is one of the benefits (among many) of being blasted by high frequency energies. Anything that is definitely not a match for your soul feels so ouchy and painful that it is impossible to ignore. Sure enough, everywhere I look there are people like this client leaving courses, jobs, relationships, habits, behaviours and geographical locations because they are just not into living with painful gravel rash anymore!
Yet still I see people dragging their souls along the gravel, bleeding and bruised, crying that the gravel is hurting them but objecting to anyone who suggests they may want to untangle themselves from the dysfunctional rope they are holding onto! Others are oblivious to the connection between the rope, the gravel and the subsequent chaos in their lives. Partly this is because of our old human programming, when given the choice between fear and freedom, to choose fear. Partly it is a result of our old reality wiring, where the veil between our greater reality and limited reality stopped us from remembering who we really are, and thus disconnected us from our realisation that we really can create a life of our choosing, and it’s meant to feel good!! We are remembering when given a choice between fear and freedom, to choose freedom and his merry friends love and trust!
I have always believed that our soul’s natural tendency is to grow and evolve towards the light, towards our highest potential. Far from disputing this theory, this gravel-dragging behaviour is helping to confirm it – in that, the consequences of not evolving, not moving toward the light, not moving towards our highest potential, are becoming so much more immediate, intense and draining on every level. It’s almost becoming impossible to go against the grain of our soul’s true nature because the ‘ouch’ factor is instantly apparent. We are being shown loud and clear that ‘gravel-dragging’ is not our natural way!!
If our soul’s natural tendency was to be miserable or in pain, then we could drag ourselves across gravel to our heart’s content and ironically it would feel fabulous! “Oooh the roughness”, we’d say, “don’t you love how much that hurts!” However, we don’t say this (well, excluding a certain sub-culture, but that’s a whole other topic...) because it doesn’t feel fabulous. It feels horrible. No-one wants to be stuck in an unhealthy relationship or go to work everyday at a job that’s sucking the lifeforce out of them. Yet many still are – believing they have no choice.
On a higher level, the choice has already been made. On a collective level, we are all heading to the new reality. On a higher level your soul has already left that relationship, quit that job, changed your eating habits and left stress, fear, doubt and worry in the dust without so much as a backward glance. Your soul made a choice a very long time ago that it came here this lifetime to shift out of gravel-dragging behaviour and shift into life on the gravy train! Your human choice is now: do I want to catch up with my soul and flow with ease into my new reality, or do I want to resist my soul, and go this other way that feels like crap, and drag my soul across the gravel – and experience the subsequent poor health, lack of energy and general unhappiness that goes along with that choice.
When I say gravy train, I’m not talking about anything materialistic. I’m talking about the choice to be plugged into Source Energy, plugged into who you really are. I’m talking about the choice to be connected to your divine, authentic self and flow, from where you receive everything you need in a good way. I’m talking about allowing yourself to be happy, do what you love and know that just by you being who you really are, that is the best thing that you can possibly do to make your contribution to the new reality of Earth and humanity.
Fifty or even five years ago, our bodies and the Earth’s body more easily tolerated our against the grain tendencies because after all, this is the planet of free will, and if we chose to learn via suffering, or collectively accepted the suffering of others, then we had the free rein to do that. However, we are entering a new paradigm, a new chapter, a whole new ballgame where new ‘rules’ apply – or rather the true Spiritual and Universal and Mother Earth laws are making themselves known. We are receiving a massive influx of higher energies and thus embodying more and more of our higher selves every day. We are remembering who we are. We are remembering our abilities as co-creators. Our soul is heading towards the light practically at the speed of light. For those still holding on to old dysfunctional ropes, be it an individual person, economic system, business mentality or political party, the ride is going to get beyond bumpy.
If you are thrown off the gravel path (retrenched, your spouse finally does what you both should have done years ago and declares the marriage over), consider yourself lucky. The Universe is doing you a favour. The alternative seems to be a barrage of physical health symptoms or other challenges that are detrimental to a long, happy and vibrant life. In many cases, this is the Universe’s way of saying ‘let go of the rope already!!!’
I want to acknowledge that we have for thousands of years chosen difficult experiences as a way of learning. It can be confusing to discover that ‘it doesn’t matter what you do, it’s all good’ kind of no longer applies, although of course on the highest of high levels of course it applies. Sure, everything is learning. Sure even the most painful of experiences is something you can find a silver lining in. The turning point we are in however is about giving us a new choice, a new way of learning, a new selection of ways in which we can experience silver linings.
You no longer have to attract something crappy to propel you into wanting something great. We’ve all had the crappy. We have masters degrees in crappy. Enough of the crappy!! The Universe is trying to tell us that we have graduated and now get to experience joyful, abundant, healthy lives, meanwhile the majority of humans are not wanting to leave their classrooms. We’ve been in class for so long, some are mistaking it for real life, when ‘real life’ – the greater, new reality – is waiting for us outside the walls. For thousands of years, we’ve become used to just accepting what life throws at us, meanwhile it’s time to get off our butts and get out there and create life the way we always meant to create it.
It is tough love time. Your body, heart and soul is in this together with the full support of the Universe. They do not want you to get left behind in the old classroom. You are moving forward into a New Earth and your future self is waiting for you. Are you 100% committed to riding on the gravy train or are you still dragging your soul through gravel in some aspects of your life, or via some aspects of your thinking or behaviour?
Where are you still hurting yourself? Ask yourself why. If it’s a way of thinking or behaviour, imagine turning it into a ball and throwing it away far far into the Universal recycling bin. If it’s a situation, write down all the reasons you choose to hold on, and address them. If you fear leaving your job and having no money, have you started looking for a better job, or even started declaring “I have a wonderful new job that I love with great pay!” If you fear leaving a relationship and being alone picture yourself happy and loving life knowing you can then open to meeting a partner that is right and good for your soul. If you cry at night about humanitarian injustices picture those you cry for as being happy, healthy, abundant and free, and ask to be guided to action where you can do the most good for those people. If you are anxious about environmental crises, picture those areas as thriving, and ask to be shown what you can do to contribute to the new blueprint of our new healthy Earth.
We didn’t come here to suffer through yet another cycle. We came here this time to embody our true natures physically on a planet that is Paradise. Have you looked around and noticed that? We are living on a Paradise, and are here to create a Heaven on Earth. It starts with every one of us individually, and then together we all play a part in creating it.
On August 6-7 we are facing quite the wammy of astrological squares and oppositions with a grand cardinal cross featuring all the major planets. The astrologer Susan Miller wrote that she can’t find anything like it within 500 years either side of us. Interestingly enough, on August 1 a few days ago the Sun had a massive Solar Flare (like an eruption) triggering a huge Solar Tsunami hurling itself toward Earth. Essentially this affects our weather and electro-magnetic energy so things like communication devices and navigational equipment go a bit haywire but we are also made up of electro-magnetic energy so we may be feeling like we are going a little haywire this week too!! Either one of these events are HUGE, so for them to happen as if by synchronicity offers a big opportunity for major shifting. This is a week when anything that has been stuck is going to explode with unstuckness in a big way. Pay attention to anything that bursts forth this week, whether it’s creativity, anger, an old emotional pattern, frustration or dormant dreams, because it is a sign that something is wanting to birth, something that was stuck doesn’t want to be stuck anymore. Anything that has felt imprisoned, passive or repressed will want freedom and expression. It’s the week your soul might instigate a mighty rebellion and say enough is enough, take the needle of this record, get out of this particular classroom, and stop dragging me across gravel!!!

One would think that this ‘gravel-dragging’ experience would be enough to snap us out of any against the grain tendencies quick smart. This is one of the benefits (among many) of being blasted by high frequency energies. Anything that is definitely not a match for your soul feels so ouchy and painful that it is impossible to ignore. Sure enough, everywhere I look there are people like this client leaving courses, jobs, relationships, habits, behaviours and geographical locations because they are just not into living with painful gravel rash anymore!
Yet still I see people dragging their souls along the gravel, bleeding and bruised, crying that the gravel is hurting them but objecting to anyone who suggests they may want to untangle themselves from the dysfunctional rope they are holding onto! Others are oblivious to the connection between the rope, the gravel and the subsequent chaos in their lives. Partly this is because of our old human programming, when given the choice between fear and freedom, to choose fear. Partly it is a result of our old reality wiring, where the veil between our greater reality and limited reality stopped us from remembering who we really are, and thus disconnected us from our realisation that we really can create a life of our choosing, and it’s meant to feel good!! We are remembering when given a choice between fear and freedom, to choose freedom and his merry friends love and trust!
I have always believed that our soul’s natural tendency is to grow and evolve towards the light, towards our highest potential. Far from disputing this theory, this gravel-dragging behaviour is helping to confirm it – in that, the consequences of not evolving, not moving toward the light, not moving towards our highest potential, are becoming so much more immediate, intense and draining on every level. It’s almost becoming impossible to go against the grain of our soul’s true nature because the ‘ouch’ factor is instantly apparent. We are being shown loud and clear that ‘gravel-dragging’ is not our natural way!!
If our soul’s natural tendency was to be miserable or in pain, then we could drag ourselves across gravel to our heart’s content and ironically it would feel fabulous! “Oooh the roughness”, we’d say, “don’t you love how much that hurts!” However, we don’t say this (well, excluding a certain sub-culture, but that’s a whole other topic...) because it doesn’t feel fabulous. It feels horrible. No-one wants to be stuck in an unhealthy relationship or go to work everyday at a job that’s sucking the lifeforce out of them. Yet many still are – believing they have no choice.
On a higher level, the choice has already been made. On a collective level, we are all heading to the new reality. On a higher level your soul has already left that relationship, quit that job, changed your eating habits and left stress, fear, doubt and worry in the dust without so much as a backward glance. Your soul made a choice a very long time ago that it came here this lifetime to shift out of gravel-dragging behaviour and shift into life on the gravy train! Your human choice is now: do I want to catch up with my soul and flow with ease into my new reality, or do I want to resist my soul, and go this other way that feels like crap, and drag my soul across the gravel – and experience the subsequent poor health, lack of energy and general unhappiness that goes along with that choice.
When I say gravy train, I’m not talking about anything materialistic. I’m talking about the choice to be plugged into Source Energy, plugged into who you really are. I’m talking about the choice to be connected to your divine, authentic self and flow, from where you receive everything you need in a good way. I’m talking about allowing yourself to be happy, do what you love and know that just by you being who you really are, that is the best thing that you can possibly do to make your contribution to the new reality of Earth and humanity.
Fifty or even five years ago, our bodies and the Earth’s body more easily tolerated our against the grain tendencies because after all, this is the planet of free will, and if we chose to learn via suffering, or collectively accepted the suffering of others, then we had the free rein to do that. However, we are entering a new paradigm, a new chapter, a whole new ballgame where new ‘rules’ apply – or rather the true Spiritual and Universal and Mother Earth laws are making themselves known. We are receiving a massive influx of higher energies and thus embodying more and more of our higher selves every day. We are remembering who we are. We are remembering our abilities as co-creators. Our soul is heading towards the light practically at the speed of light. For those still holding on to old dysfunctional ropes, be it an individual person, economic system, business mentality or political party, the ride is going to get beyond bumpy.
If you are thrown off the gravel path (retrenched, your spouse finally does what you both should have done years ago and declares the marriage over), consider yourself lucky. The Universe is doing you a favour. The alternative seems to be a barrage of physical health symptoms or other challenges that are detrimental to a long, happy and vibrant life. In many cases, this is the Universe’s way of saying ‘let go of the rope already!!!’
I want to acknowledge that we have for thousands of years chosen difficult experiences as a way of learning. It can be confusing to discover that ‘it doesn’t matter what you do, it’s all good’ kind of no longer applies, although of course on the highest of high levels of course it applies. Sure, everything is learning. Sure even the most painful of experiences is something you can find a silver lining in. The turning point we are in however is about giving us a new choice, a new way of learning, a new selection of ways in which we can experience silver linings.
You no longer have to attract something crappy to propel you into wanting something great. We’ve all had the crappy. We have masters degrees in crappy. Enough of the crappy!! The Universe is trying to tell us that we have graduated and now get to experience joyful, abundant, healthy lives, meanwhile the majority of humans are not wanting to leave their classrooms. July 2010 Monthly Visions: Eclipses, Openings and Letting Go of your "I'm not Ready"
We are currently sitting in between the Lunar Eclipse of June 26 and the Solar Eclipse of July 11. The period between eclipses is always a strange time where on one hand it can seem like nothing is happening, but emotionally and energetically it feels like everything is happening. It is like the eye of the storm, that quiet time between strong outside events where you are still reeling from what just happened, have a brief window of grace where you can catch your breath and get your bearings, knowing that any moment part two is going to come along and off you'll go, the winds sweeping you to wherever you are meant to be - usually many miles down the road from where you thought you'd be!
